❗ï¸𢾱 days. 9 months... (& counting) is how long Lady has been patiently waiting for her forever home. During this time, she has had only 4 adoption inquiries, 0 applications, attended 2 adoption events, 0 meet and greets...she hasn't even been given a chance! Why, you may ask? We have no idea. Likely because she is a mostly black, bully breed. Lady is the sweetest dog. She is loyal, affectionate, and friendly. She is the perfect mix of active and laid back. Lady is a real 'Lady!' She is house, leash, and crate trained. She has never met a stranger. She rides well. She is up for whatever as long as she's with YOU! She knows basic commands and eager to please you and learn more. She ADORES kids. She does great with other dogs. We were told she didn't do well with cats, but when we arrived to pick her up, there were cats everywhere outside with her. She was completely ignoring them. This may could be something that is worked on with proper training. Lady came into rescue with 9 pups after she had been abandoned in a trailer park. All of the neighbors had been feeding the poor mama, but nobody could keep her. All of her pups were adopted quickly, but Lady still awaits... Is Lady perfect? Absolutely not, nobody is. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to dogs, but would do best without cats according to previous owner/finder. She does correct easy. Good with men/women/kids? Yes to all! She is the absolute sweetest to EVERY one she meets. Personality: friendly, loyal, eager to please. She is playful, but also loves to cuddle! Lady has been waiting for a home since January.
