Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pibbles was a stray dog that had been spotted by some locals.  She was shy and was unsure if she wanted to be took in or not.  It was the middle of January and it was very cold.  She came in very underweight and scared.  After some good food and care she became healthy, and is now ready for a forever home.  She loves playing with Wallace and they are scene running in and out of their house playing and barking. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 27, 2024, 7:39 pm

Story
We are looking to re-home Caffrey, our 4yo American Bully. We raised him from birth and he has been an amazing part of our family. But now we have another even more amazing part of our family—a grandson—who will soon be crawling around (and he lives very close by so we happily see him often). Caffrey is incredibly loving, but is a bit like a possessive toddler when it comes to sharing attention—especially mine—and toys, etc. (I don’t think he would ever intentionally hurt the baby but he is definitely a little rough.) He needs an owner who wants a large lap dog who puts up a “guard dog” front. (Ain’t nobody gonna prowl around on your porch, that’s for sure!) He does not need a lot of exercise but likes frequent “sniffy walks” and play tug of war, chew on toys, etc. He does NOT like his nails trimmed, and could probably benefit from calming meds before that procedure.

Story
Panda is 3 years old. House and crate trained. She has short thin hair and does not like to stay out in the winter months and will sunburn in the summer. She has a sweater and a coat. She is a sweet gentle baby, but does not get along with other dogs too well. She needs to be the only pet. She has not been around kids, so not sure how she would be. She loves to play ball, and chew on her bones as well as tug. She is a bed hog if ya let her. She is very loving and she smiles alot. She comes with a crate, and a bed with chew toys. She also has a igloo dog house and a 16 pound bag of food. She is being rehomed due to my health. I am not able to get out and walk with her or run and play due to a bad foot that is not going to get better. Please help me find her a new loving forever home.

Story
Meet Bruno! This delicious ham sandwich is a 2 year old, approx 55lb English Bulldog that came to us by way of ACCT Philly in early August. Found as a stray dragging his leash, no one ever came to claim him. Bruno had a gnarly skin infection and came down with the ACCT URI. He's since recovered from both and ready to find his people. Bruno is a super sweet, happy go lucky guy who listens well for the most part. He loves other dogs and he's GREAT at entertaining himself. Give him a ball or a nylabone and he's good for hours! He knows basic commands, has wonderful recall, is crate trained and housebroken. He's dog friendly but can be humpy in the beginning. No little dogs for him as he is blissfully unaware of his size and strength. He's a silly goof who likes to throw himself around - bowling over everything in his path. With all of that said, Bruno does need an experienced adopter. Someone who will continue to work with him on boundaries. Bruno is a great little boy until he's not. He needs a family who understands how to redirect him when he's being naughty (ie being a bulldog). He can be inappropriately mouthy at times but NOT aggressive. For this reason, we're suggesting an adult only home or one with kids 12 and older. Bruno spent time with one of our trainers and he did very well. He has finally learned "drop it and has generally slowed down a lot. Overall he has learned to make better choices or maybe just has better instincts now (?). (Thanks, Jess!) If his forever family is local to Philly, he will come with one free training session! If you're an experienced bully owner and think this ham steak would be a great addition to your family, please visit our website today to submit an application zoeshouserescue.com Bruno is currently being fostered in Levittown, PA. A separate meet and greet with all family members and resident pets is required prior to final approval. Bruno is microchipped, UTD on vaccines, neutered and on flea/tick/hw preventatives. Story
~Adoptable Bella~ Bella is a 3 year old girl who loves to play ball and spend time with her favorite people. She spent over a year in the shelter before we stepped up to rescue her. Because of the time spent in the shelter as well as her unknown past, she came into rescue as a 60-pound bouncy girl without any manners or training. Bella spent a month with a professional trainer and has been with her foster working hard on the skills learned. She can be excitable and greets new people with a loud, deep bark which can be intimidating to some. Bella has made so much progress while in rescue, but needs an adopter who is committed to continuing her training with leash walking and appropriately greeting new people. Bella does fine with other dogs when properly introduced slowly, but needs someone who will give her time to settle in and slowly acclimate to her new surroundings. Bella is looking for a patient, consistent adopter who will help her continue to build confidence and continue her training. She is very food motivated and will do almost anything for a treat. She has a lot of love to give and we are really hoping to find her a forever home soon! It may be easy for some to pass Bella by because she needs continued training and slower introductions, but if you give Bella a true, fair chance, you’ll find she would love nothing more than to be your best little buddy who is very eager to please. Please complete the application below if you are interested in getting approved to meet her! She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped for an adoption fee of $325.  https://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-adoption-applicationOctober 27, 2024, 8:28 am

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.'I like big MUTTS and i can not lie!' Mr. Biggs is estimated to be 2 years old and weighs 75 pounds. He is very sweet and wants to please. We believe he is American Bulldog. He does well around other dogs but would probably do best in a home with calm dogs and not pushy ones. He can be cat tested if needed. He does like to look at cats out the window and seems really interested like he might want to chase one. He is laid back and likes to just chill on his dog bed but can also get playful every once in a while. He loves food and would probably do anything for food. He has the most adorable squishy face and the best facial expressions. Loves to be pet and loved on. He is crate trained and has only had a couple of accidents in the house when not in the crate. He is good about giving a little bark when he needs to go out. He walks very well on leash, and he LOVES to go for car rides. This guy never meets a stranger- he is all butt wiggles, tail wags, and slobbery kisses for everyone he meets. Mr. Biggs was rescued off of a busy interstate where he was scrounging for food. We have searched for his home to no avail. He had no collar or identification and no microchip. We have had him fully vetted (vaccs, heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, etc.)Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
