Story
Sporty Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday.  Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with children that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in.  Spots does well with some dogs that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and has owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned to sit, stay, and lay down.  Overall, Spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. He also is very protective of his home and loves to keep patrol of his yard! He loves toys and water and would make the perfect travel buddy! Story
🐾 Meet Wall-e! 🐾 Hello! Let us introduce you to Walle, a truly unique gentleman with a heart as big as Texas. At just three years old, Wall-e is a laid-back companion, always ready to bask in affection. Walle is the perfect match for you if you're searching for a calm and collected buddy. Wall-e will be your new walking buddy: a gentle-on-leash pup who turns every long stroll into a whimsical adventure filled with tail wags and curious sniffs! Wall-e is a true delight on the leash, striding with a calm confidence that makes every walk a pleasure. He enjoys walks, but not when it's too hot. He's completely unfazed walking by other dogs and carries himself with grace and composure. Walle would thrive as the only dog in a home or even with a low-energy female companion, as he values his personal space and is not fond of male dogs. Wall-e loves to rub his head on you and knows how to sit, though it may require some encouragement. He adores Dentastix and big femur bones from the butcher. A cozy couch and some pets make him content, and he becomes ecstatic when you offer a treat, which he accepts with the utmost gentleness. Friendly with adults and children, Walle sometimes shows a hint of shyness when meeting new people but warms up quickly once he feels comfortable. Rescued from the side of a highway, Walle has made tremendous strides in his foster home and eagerly awaits a loving, forever family. Currently fostered in Texas, Walle's foster parents are eager to show you how wonderful he is through a virtual meet and greet. He needs a home with someone who patiently lets him settle in and know he's loved and safe. Take the chance and add a serene soul to your life. Walle is ready to fill your days with tranquility and gentle companionship. Reach out to learn more about adopting Walle today! 🐶💕 Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65eb50e80f0210e0030615a5 Please email elizabethbower@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. Story
Snoopy has a striking look and goofy personality. He is such a sweet boy who loves toys and lights up when you talk sweet to him or start to love on him. You can see him coming, tail-wagging and on a mission for some love, its adorable, but once you touch him you will see the wiggles. His whole body wiggles in happiness and that same wiggle will show up when he has a loved toy in his mouth. And if you can be flexible on what you play fetch with, replace the ball with a lovie, then you have yourself a fetch boy for sure! We estimate Snoopy to be right around 2 years old and he currently weighs 56 lbs and we expect his weight to settle in around 60-65 lbs. Breed and age are something in rescue we cannot guarantee but we suspect he is possibly a pittie/boxer/dojo mix, but definitely a guaranteed cutie boy. When introduced to new dogs Snoopy was happy and excited and a bit goofy. Its almost like he doesn’t know is this a handshake moment? A high-five? A hug? We have all been there! He is a good boy and once off leash and playing he is a happy bouncy playmate. The dog pairing that he seemed to enjoy the most was with a calm female who was happy to play but took breaks often. Snoopy will thrive in a home with a yard where he can show off his budding fetch skills and sun himself. Another dog would be great but isn’t needed, Snoopy adores people and will be content with the love of his family and a few good toys. However, he’s a no-go for feline friends—his goofy approach to greetings would cause him to chase a cat and that is not way to make a friend. Snoopy has all the makings of a wonderful companion and family dog, with the steady-legged ages and up would be best so he doesn’t knock over a little with all of his wiggle. This boy is going to light up when he sees you and coming home to that wiggle butt everyday is going to make for a pretty sweet life for you both. If you are ready for love and laughs and a loyal companion, Snoopy is just as ready! Adopt him today and get to living the next best chapter together! If you have any questions or would like us to test Snoopy in a specific setting, please get in touch. We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! Story
Willow is a perfectly petite ittie bittie pittie! A house hippo that brings the charm! A beloved “piglet” with adorable little grunts! She’s a wiggle-butt and a lap-dog and she’s ready to be your best friend. We believe that Willow is an American Pit Bull Terrier, Bulldog mix. We estimate her age to be around 7 months old, and she currently weighs in at a squatty and thick 50 pounds. Meet Willow here: Willow can be a little shy when you first meet her, but she’s won over quickly with pets, compliments and milkbones. Once she’s warmed up to you, she’s a love bug with so many kisses to give. She loves to snuggle, and she loves booty scratches. She’s a very affectionate little lady! Willow loves other dogs, and shares her toys, treats and people well with her doggy friends. She’s a friend to all, and so tolerant with even the pushiest of playful pups. She plays with other dogs in short bursts, taking frequent breaks. She doesn’t get too rowdy or mouthy with other dogs. She’s just a dream! She would do well in a home with doggy siblings, but considering how people-oriented she is, she could absolutely thrive as a solo dog as well. Willow is a happy-go-lucky-girl that makes the best of every day. She loves treats, taking them gently and working for them, which will make any further training with her easy and enjoyable for both of you. She loves pup cups, and does well in the car. She likes walks and gets uber excited for the leash, but will sit on command before you leash her up. She’s a really well-behaved girl too! She seems to want permission before getting on the furniture. She seems to be potty trained, and doesn’t have indoor accidents here at the rescue. She loves her crate and sees it as her “safe space”- her own personal bedroom! Willow is a mellow girl too, she’s loving and goofy and silly but never “too much.” She’s a huge fan of the floor nap. Light exercise and plenty of snuggle time will keep this girl happy and healthy. Willow is ready to be your best friend. Willow would do best in a home with kids ten and up, or as your furry child. She would do well in a home with other dogs, but she’s so people-focused that we suspect she’d enjoy being your one and only. She’s so quiet and mellow that we could see her doing well in an apartment. We are willing to test Willow with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
