Story
Jackson is looking for an adult only, very experienced home. He was surrendered to us and did not have a stable upbringing, which has caused some behavioural needs. He is very protective of his people and things, which can cause him to lunge and bite. Jackson is very loving to the people he trusts. He's playful, intelligent and goofy. He does well with dogs when given a proper introduction, but can be selective with who he likes. He loves car rides, swimming, and going on adventures. If you have a quiet and private home he may just be the buddy for you.

Story
Moka is a powerhouse ! This big girl takes a lot of time to warm up to new people but when she does she’s the most loyal girl. Moka loves chasing a ball, doing tricks for treats and getting lots of attention. Moka is looking for an adult only home with no other pets. Due to Moka’s behavioural challenges, she will bite strangers and dogs. Moka will need an owner with a spacious living environment in a neighbourhood away from lots of people and dogs. Moka will also need an owner to continue her muzzle training as she is very uncomfortable and aggressive for vetting and grooming. With patience and trust she is getting better with this.

Story
Traye is a handsome, headstrong boy who is always on a mission! He loves to go for walks and check out everything the world has to offer. Traye is selective with other dogs and will need a home with a secure, fully fenced backyard. Traye really bonds with his people and is looking for an adult home who is comfortable with his protective tendencies. When strangers enter his home he will need a separate area to ensure the safety of the person entering the home. This will also give Traye a sense of security and boundaries. He will require slow muzzled introductions to people in his home once he is feeling more comfortable. Introductions outside of the home will help him adjust better before meeting them inside of his home environment. With some guidance and structure, Traye is sure to make the perfect companion.

Story
This inseparable pair was surrendered to us when their family became homeless. Gunner and Rosie have been together for life and it shows! They get along like two peas in a pod! We usually can find them snuggled up in the same bed. Rosie is deaf and looks to Gunner whenever she needs it. They love to wrestle, eat treats and most importantly CUDDLE! The pair can be nervous when first meeting people but they warm up quickly, for this reason we recommend they go to a home with teens or older. Overall they get along with dogs with a very controlled introduction. They can be overly excited and reactive on the leash when meeting a new dog. It's important their future family keeps up with their leash and overall training and provides them with lots of exercise. Rosie and Gunner would do amazing with a strong and active caregiver.

Story
Hey Hey! My name is Peachy! and I am 100% a girls girl. I love all things pink, girl dinners, and snuggling up on the couch watching the latest season of Love is Blind. I enjoy being the center of attention and thus need to be the only animal in home. I can be pretty selective with men, they make me a little nervous. I came to the center as a stray so It's hard to say why I can be untrusting but I working really hard on overcoming my insecurities. I say my daily affirmations and try to start my day off on the right paw. I like to keep my room clean and snuggle with my stuffed bear. I can't wait to have a home of my very own, I hope you and I will live a happy life together sharing a bond for all the things I love! I can't wait to meet you!Yours truly, Peachy xoxo Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: Tri Color Weight: 28.1 Age: 6yrs 2mths 2wks

Story
Harley is a very goofy girl who is amazing with all of our staff members. She is a treat-eating machine! One of her favourite things is getting butt rubs, though she also enjoys playing with her food puzzles. She does like to go for walks, but is generally pretty lazy and enjoys lounging. There have been instances of resource guarding with dogs and strangers, so she would do best in a home with no children or other pets. Harley is very loyal to her people and will become your shadow if you give her a chance!

She also enjoys going for walks with her people and is very playful. Unfortunately she does not get along with other dogs or cats and will need to be the only dog in the home. On her walks she can be reactive to other dogs, but she is learning to walk by them comfortably.

Story
Mackey was rescued after a life of living outside all alone. This powerhouse is such a fun loving boy! Mackey does not trust new people easily but with a proper introduction and lots of time, he learns to share his things and give affection. Once comfortable with his people, he listens well and is bouncy and playful. Mackey will need an experienced adult family to manage his resource guarding and teach him how to live in a house. Mackey is very intelligent and has learned many different ways to control these behaviors. He will need continued practice with muzzle training for vet visits and boundaries in the home to control his resource guarding. With clear guidance and reward for desired behavior, Mackey can easily learn to live in a home. Mackey has a high prey drive which makes him aggressive towards small dogs and wildlife. He will need lots of control on walks, distance away from all dogs, constant obedience training and positive reinforcement to keep him in a good mindset and paying attention to his owner. Mackey would do best in a house with a fully fenced yard.
