Story
Diamond has been with us 3 years, and in those years only 1 application that was not a match has come in. This girl is a firecracker and super high energy, but she's got the sweetest side. She makes us laugh daily and we wouldn't change a thing about her! Diamond's adoption has been donated by an amazing sponsor. All we want is to find her a loving family and home. https://form.jotform.com/213266369147057 Or you can reach out to myself Jen@fightagainstbreedracism.com or Kari, Kari@fightagainstbreedracism.com for any questions you may have. Name: Diamond Breed: American Bulldog X Weight: 47.50 lbs Gender: Spayed/Female Age: 4 years old Energy Level: Medium to High Medical: UTD Good with dogs: Selective. Social outside but don't think indoors she'd do good in a home with another dog. Unless someone was experiencing and took the time it takes to work with her. She does love to play with her rescue friends. Good with cats: No has a high prey drive for all small animals Good with kids: No young children due to her energy. Good with strangers: yes gets overly excited Guarding issues: None that have been seen Behavioural issues: can have separation anxiety in new environments. And will be destructive if left alone too long. House trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Leash skills: still a working progress, but has come a long way since she first came to us. Pulls a lot and will try to go after small animals if she sees them. Will need someone that can control/handle her. Walks way better with a martingale. Okay with manipulations: Yes, always willing to please. Notes: Diamond is a very sweet, affectionate girl who is eager to please. She has shown to be food motivated which is a bonus for training. Diamond gets very overstimulated and excited fast. She will jump up and grab at you or the leash but she listens if you are firm with her. Diamond is your perfect companion if your looking for a dog who can keep up with an active lifestyle!

Story
Hello! My name is Koby!I`m a loving guy who enjoys a good walk and snuggle with my human. I do have a woof that I share when I see new people that I`m feeling a bit unsure about. I am eager to join a home with gentle humans who will help me learn that new people are fun and not scary. I`m a big teddy bear and have asked my GHS friends to find me a home with a cushy spot on the couch for me!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: No, I would do best in an adult-only home.OTHER DOGS: Potentially, I might do better with a female, and they would definitely have to be a dog who is well-socialized with other dogs.CATS: Potentially, with a cat confident around dogs. FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: No, I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: No apartment buildings as unfamiliar people can make me nervous.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium. HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the `adopt me` button to apply!

Story
Hello! My name is Benito!I`m a super wiggly love muffin, but can be a bit nervous of crowds. I`m excited to continue to experience that new people equal fun things and not scary things. I expect I will be a large boy so prepare for a big dog if you want to adopt me!I am very excited to move into my new home and keep the ball rolling with my socialization. It is very important that I join a family that has the time and patience to dedicate to my socialization and training, and who can handle my energy and excitement. To become a well-rounded, socialized adult, it`s important I have frequent and positive interactions with new people, children, other dogs, visits to the vet clinic and other unfamiliar environments (like friends` homes and pet stores). It`s also important I continue to get practice with handling and grooming so I continue to be comfortable when I am older and go for vet visits, get nail trims and receive brushing and grooming.***If you apply to adopt me, please have a certified positive-reinforcement trainer in mind to sign up for puppy socialization classes, as this will be required prior to adoption.***If you are interested in adopting me, please click the `Adopt Me` button to complete an application.
