Dara is a hoot, but also a homebody, and she is the type of girl who would love to be in her jammies back at home by 8pm. Currently living in a foster home, Dara has shown that she is a great cuddler whose favorite place might just be bundled up in bed. She will even bark to let you know when it`s bedtime and she wants a snuggle. She`s not totally lazy, though. She has a nice, moderate activity level, with bursts of silly zoomie energy on occasion. She enjoys walks and hikes, and is working on being a tugboat on leash - she will at least help you up the hills. Her signature move is wriggling her dumpling self around on her back, partly for the joy of it and partly in case you want to give her belly rubs. Dara could be a little timid meeting new people and visiting new places at first, and she`s really come into her own and her goofy personality shines in a home environment. So if you too feel like a bit of an introvert and are looking for a kindred spirit, Dara is your gal. She is also good in her crate, and totally housebroken. Leon is basically a 75-lb weighted blanket in dog form. He’s really a big, goofy teddy bear that keeps you entertained and laughing all the time. He`s also a smooshy galoot who doesn`t know the definition of personal space. He loooves people and soaking up as much attention as he can get! Currently living in a foster home, Leon has shown that one of his favorite hobbies is snuggling on the couch. Leon has some great qualities that make him a pleasant chonker to have around the house. He`s overall a lower-key guy who doesn`t need a ton of exercise. He`s also housebroken and tolerates his crate and being left alone during the workday. He also is cooperative for baths and rides decently in the car. He`s also friendly with other dogs and would like enjoy a canine playmate who doesn`t mind him being a bit of a bull in a china shop. Leon is a strong beefcake, and would do best in a home with a fenced yard while he keeps working on his leash manners. Where are all my XL Bully lovers at? Well, we’d like to introduce you to our lion, Dandelion. 🌼🌼 Dandelion is a svelte 3-year old XL Bully who has a body of a slinky lion but the disposition of a delicate flower. Dandy is a big ole softy through and through. She’s really sweetheart with a heart of true gold. She’s great in the crate and potty trained. She has a great appetite now that we have figured out her diet. Dandy loves chewing on elk antlers and cuddling with stuffys. She has spouts of energy with zoom-ies and full body spins but for the most part would prefer to lay around and nap. Dandelion doesn’t seem at all interested in getting up on furniture or beds and would prefer to lay on the floor. Due to her size (her range will be about 100-120lb) we are recommending no small dogs or cats and no small children. In terms of friendliness Dandelion is the absolute best. She’s shy at first but she wants to love and be loved. We hope with the right patient owner she will flourish. She would benefit with training, from a basic understanding of controlling her own strength when she gets excited to being able to control herself with another dog in the house consistently. Throughout her time in her foster home she has worked on leash skills with prong, muzzle conditioning, and crate training. She has begun to co-exist with the dogs in the house and has small amounts of play time. We believe with more time and energy spent she will be able to co-exist and live with another dog. But, the adopter who applies needs to be aware that this will not be an immediate thing and will need to be a slow introduction, worked on over time and training. You can see it in her eyes and soul she wants to love on humans and dogs, she has so much energy to give she just hasn’t figured out how to to harness it all into appropriate amounts. She’s worth it.
