Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my name is Lila!! What breed mix am I, well after a DNA test, we know I have some American Bully, Bulldog, Foxhound and Dachshund.  I am adorable with all my amazing markings and colors, and my foster mom also thinks I am the sweetest girl ever! I am going to be a medium sized pup when I am all grown up and some say that is the perfect size! I am a loyal girl, all the other puppies enjoy playing together in the puppy room, but me, I would rather go searching for where my foster mom went because I love to be her little shadow, wherever she goes I find her. My favorite place in the world is on my foster mom’s lap, you see she says I am her little cuddle bug, and I take that job very seriously. When I am not on my cuddling job, I do like to play with my foster siblings, and we all get along great! We all like to go outside and explore, roll in the grass and find sticks to chew on. I am crate trained, and I sleep in it all night without a peep, and I am working on potty training and should have that down in no time because whenever I am good, I get one of those amazing things they call treats. So, do you want me to come to your house so you can be my forever family, and I can be your forever cuddle bug, I think I would like that, how about you? You can apply for me today at BuffaloCares.org! Love, Lila! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ozzy!   Ozzy appears to be a microbully and is about three years old.  Ozzy being cute as can be is an understatement.  He is also a complete velcro dog that wants to be with people.  He will play with toys, lay next to you, or contently chew a bone. He is working on his leash skills, however, he is easily excited and pulls on the leash.   Ozzy was in a home, however was returned after a bite incident.  It is reported that while sleeping, he was startled and bit the person laying with him in the face. It was not just a nip, and the powerfulness of his jaw was exhibited by this incident.  While he appears to have no aggressive tendencies, he has exhibited some traits while at shelter that need to be known before one thinks about applying for him.  Ozzy tends to become fixated, slightly obsessive, with certain toys - when one tries to remove that object he stiffens up and tries to not give it up and it is difficult to break his focus from that toy.  Volunteers have been working with him on 'drop it' and 'leave it' using his favorite high value treat, cheese.  He has a good start and is catching on, but continued work in that area is needed.     Ozzy is also very bossy and wants to be in control.  However, he has responded well when advised he is not the boss, and there are rules and boundaries he needs to follow.  He tends to test everyone to see who will make him listen, so it is important that you can stand your ground.  Nothing crazy, just asking him to sit and wait until your ready to go out the door, waiting for his meal, and removing him from the furniture when he is acting foolish.  All these little things and more add up to a more respectful relationship, rather than Ozzy being a little dictator.  Training classes would probably be a HUGE bonus to help him bond with his new people and have added structure.   Ozzy has a lot of love and energy to share with his people.  The love and excitement he has when he sees his favorite volunteers shows, and despite him being a stubborn, bossy bully at times, he is mostly a small, compact, larger than life lovebug! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. &#226&#150&#186 We do not adopt to Canada  due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation &#226&#150&#186 We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment. Story
Looking for a loyal best friend who doubles as a world-class couch cuddler? Allow us to introduce Boudreaux—or as we lovingly call him, Boo Boo. This approximately 6-year-old Olde English Bulldog mix is a true testament to resilience and joy. Even during his toughest days recovering from a torn cruciate, fractured pelvis and pinched nerve, Boo Boo's sweet, goofy spirit never wavered. **What Makes Boo Boo Special?** - He adores **adventures** of all kinds, whether it's a leisurely walk around the block or ride in the car. - A certified **nap enthusiast**, he’s always down for some quality couch time with his favorite human. - Boo transforms into a playful pup when toys are involved, especially stuffed ones—watch him toss, chase, and entertain himself! **The Perfect Home for Boudreaux**True to his suspected breed, Boo Boo is a quirky mix of traits: stubborn, dramatic, vocal, affectionate, and endlessly loyal. He thrives in an environment where personal space is negotiable (his love language is being close, really close). However, his strength, enthusiasm and occasional mouthiness and selective resource guarding means that a home without children is the best fit. Apartments might not be ideal either—Boo has a flair for rooster-like noises when he's feeling extra energetic or demanding attention.  **A Little Extra Care, A Lot of Extra Love**Boudreaux does have a few special needs, including mild focal seizures and pain management.  Boo would flourish in a qiet home with a strong and experienced owner who understands his requirements/limitations and is ready to meet them with love and patience while continueing the training he has started with his foster family. If you’re new to his breed, we encourage you to do a bit of research to ensure Boo Boo is your perfect match. Though he’s what we like to call a "needy boy," the love and happiness Boo Boo brings to every interaction is *more* than worth it. He’s ready to be your forever shadow, adventure partner, and cuddle champion. Are you ready to give this wrinkly potato the loving home he deserves? Apply to adopt Boudreaux today, and prepare for a lifetime of joy with your new best friend! www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt  ##2350243##
