She was being returned along with her brother a Frenchie the owner was moving away and didn’t want either of them and we agreed to take them both and she said she didn’t want to separate them because they love each other . But unfortunately in the end she found the Frenchie a home and separated them and just gave us Rosie back. Rosie was upset actually so we didn’t want to put her back up for adoption until we worked with her a bit . She is a little shy and scared in the beginning and need a patience and slow approach but she is so smart and loves her people and other dogs. Sometimes she is a little rough when playing with other dogs but all the dogs she is fostered with here do not mind . She is so cute . She needs a home without kids as she is shy, and probably dogs not too small and she is like a bull in a china closet . All Perth Amboy Animal Shelter residents will be fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. You must be 23 or older to adopt from the shelter, complete an Adoption Application and pay the associated adoption fee. He weighs about 65-70 lbs. He is approximately 3 years old and though he is loved in his current home, he is looking for a new home where he isn’t left alone much- which seems to cause him anxiety. He lives with another dog that he loves, and 2 cats that he tolerates well, and 4 children that he is very good with. He can be reactive to dogs on leash and could benefit from a fenced yard. He is a big snugglebug with his current owner. He rarely barks and greets all visitors and people outside beautifully. He knows some commands and takes treats very nicely. We feel he could possibly benefit from a calmer home, some training and more off leash exercise. Buddah is a sweet lover boy and can be crated. Could you give this handsome hunk the life he deserves?
