Welcome Buddy to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 2-year old American Bulldog and Australian Cattle dog is our best guess on the mix. He has a lower coat and does shed. He is a bit of a puller on leash when he first gets out of his kennel. He is intelligent, affectionate and ready to learn. It doesn’t appear he would be hard to train but may have not had a lot of training in his first home. He would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker. He is sturdy and could keep pace and would love to join his human. He is in my opinion a perfect man dog. He loves men naturally and leans in to show his affection. He hasn’t been reactive on leash when walking around other dogs. He is social and not afraid of new people. He is exuberant so we think he would be best around children that are 8 or older. He would do great with an active family that wants an active companion. He does slow down and likes to chill out as well. He is not perpetual motion. He is getting neutered soon and is already getting his vaccinations and will be chipped. He is hw negative and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Adrian is a smart, playful puppy who also loves to snuggle. He loves kids and he’s cautious, but curious with other dogs even 10 times his size. He’s such a sweetheart! Adrian is 4 lbs 10 oz at 9 weeks old.Mom was a purebred English Bulldog (owner kept her) and suspected dad is a border collie. Surly is a beautiful dog, she'll be three on April 29th. She's been a great dog and loves laying around cuddling with her younger brother Finnegan (also available). We rescued Surly from Save-a-Bull as a young puppy. She's always been a loving and affectionate dog who loves our young kids. Surly loves the snow and doesn't mind going on walks even when it's cold! She is very smart and knows commands like sit, shake a paw, lay-down, up, come, stay, etc. She is still young and will need additional training. We are looking for someone who loves big dogs and knows how to care for them properly. Surly is strong! You need to be in pretty good shape to walk her. The ideal owner is able to take both Surly and her brother Finn or at least has another larger dog at home for Surly to play with. Ideally you have experience with the breed as well.

Hello! My name is Janet and my foster mom says I can brag a little bit. She says I am the best dog. I even overheard my human brother say “Janet is a keeper!” That made my heart so happy. I love love love being with my family. They do spoil me though. I get to sleep in the big bed with them and I am the best sleeper! I sleep all night like a good girl. I am used to the kennel while they’re at work but lately they’ve even started letting me have free roam while they are at work. My mom says I am doing wonderful. I just sleep or chew my toys while they are at work. I’ve never once have gotten into anything! I love my walks!! I go on 2 walks a day. My family says that I need to get better while walking because I am so strong. I was a stray when I was little, never lived in a home, so I just need more time to work on this. I would love a fence because I love to run around and sniff all the squirrels and rabbits. Please give me a chance. I promise you will love me forever!!Janet is heartworm positive and has completed her treatment. She is awaiting a negative test result which can take place 9 months after treatment per our vets recommendations. She is no longer needing to be on exercise restrictions.
