Story
Welcome Buddy to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 2-year old American Bulldog and Australian Cattle dog is our best guess on the mix. He has a lower coat and does shed. He is a bit of a puller on leash when he first gets out of his kennel. He is intelligent, affectionate and ready to learn. It doesn’t appear he would be hard to train but may have not had a lot of training in his first home. He would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker. He is sturdy and could keep pace and would love to join his human. He is in my opinion a perfect man dog. He loves men naturally and leans in to show his affection. He hasn’t been reactive on leash when walking around other dogs. He is social and not afraid of new people. He is exuberant so we think he would be best around children that are 8 or older. He would do great with an active family that wants an active companion. He does slow down and likes to chill out as well. He is not perpetual motion. He is getting neutered soon and is already getting his vaccinations and will be chipped. He is hw negative and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Bogo is half Bulldog and half American Bulldog. Bogo was a rescue from Dallas and he was found on the streets just skin and bones, but is doing great now. Bogo loves toys and is highly toy driven. He likes to chew but will stick to his toys, balls being his preferred toy. Bogo loves to play and at night he is a big cuddler. Bogo ignores other dogs and people, focusing on toys. Bogo is crate trained, e-collar trained, and has gone through extensive obedience training. He is very good with his recall, sit, down, stay, wait, free/ok. We adopted Bogo as our second dog, but unfortunately our older dog does not like him AND our older dog is reactive. Bogo feeds off that energy and it is not a good situation for him. Bogo has some impulse control at high energy levels and is still mouthy. He would do well in a calmer environment but where someone is still able to play with him. He is fine with kids, but because he is still mouthy, so an experience dog family would be best.

Story
Hi, my name is Phoenix. I am from Arkansas. Phoenix found himself with a shelter partner of ours after escaping a life of neglect. Rescued from poor living conditions, he's blossomed into one of the happiest, best-behaved dogs you could meet. Phoenix loves to play fetch and tug-of-war, is 100% house-trained, and gets along well with other dogs. With his striking brindle patches and mismatched eyes, he's ready to find a loving forever home where he can continue to thrive! From his foster: Phoenix is a lovable old soul with a goofball side. He is such a sweet boy and has been so well behaved the entire time we've been fostering him. He's fully house and crate trained. He did bark for a few minutes the first couple times he went in the crate but he's been perfectly fine from there on out. Phoenix has been very gentle with everyone he's been around including kids and our other dog. We leave him out at night and he just crashes wherever he wants and has never been destructive with anything in the house. He's a little on the husky side so we're working on some leash training to get a little exercise but the main thing this guy wants to do is cuddle up on the couch with you and take some naps. Please don't hesitate if you have any question about this amazing boy.

Story
Location: St Paul, MN Hello! My name is Hakeem. I also go by King - and my fosters like to call me Meat Head. I can't imagine why?! I am THE squishiest and snuggliest boy. I love nothing more than playing with and getting affection from my humans. In fact, I love it SO MUCH, that I don't really enjoying sharing my humans. I guess I'm also a little stubborn. My fosters said that I should probably live in a home without other dogs, because I can be a little jealous when other dogs get attention. (I mean come on, I deserve alllllll the loves!) since I am a little stubborn and hard headed, small children might be a little too overstimulating for me. (Have you met them?! They can be so loud!) I know my BFF is out there somewhere... I truly am just hoping to find a comfy couch & bed to lounge on and someone to play tug-of-war with. Okay, okay, I also like treats. Do you want to meet me? Please fill out an application! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: SIoux Falls, SD Hello everybody! My name is Tyson and I am a big goofy Bulldog! I am about 6 years old. My favorite activity is hanging out on the couch. Unfortunately, this has led me to have some extra pounds on me, so I will need somebody to help me work on my beach body for next summer! My foster parents feed me weight management food, and I really like it so I would like to stay on that food. I currently live with other dogs and some cats, and I don't mind sharing my space with them. They're even kind of fun to spend time with! I haven't been around children in my current home, but I think I would like them. You'll have to have some patience with me because my foster parents think that I am either very hard of hearing, or deaf (I haven't told them which one yet, I enjoy watching them look ridiculous trying to figure it out). Anyway, I enjoy short walks on the beach, low-calorie treats, and a good snooze on the couch. Fill out an application for me if you think I'd be your perfect new friend! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
This handsome guy is Ocho, a 7-year-old American Bulldog/Boxer mix ready to find his forever home!Ocho is quite the catch as he is as low-maintenance as dogs come. It doesn't take much from his human(s), sometimes its just a smile, to make his stub of a tail wag and let you know he's enjoying life.Although he may look serious, this boy is a total goof and the sweetest of dogs. Ocho will make you smile daily, but especially when you come home or he sees someone he knows and jumps/dances with his legs straight to do the funniest of taps. He's a tank but surprisingly light on his feet!Ocho absolutely loves his people and when he knows you, he trusts you for life. He may take a moment to warm up but once he does, he'll be rolling over for belly rubs and snuggles with the biggest of smiles. He loves to sit next to you or against you when given a comfy spot to rest.Ocho has and currently lives with other dogs and does well. Like with people, he just needs a hot sec to warm up. He particularly loves the occasional short play with one of his foster siblings (he's low energy) and enjoys a good walk but doesn’t need one. He’d be down for a hike or time in the yard (his recall is great) and would likely appreciate a mellow canine companion. He has also previously lived with cats but would likely prefer a home without feline energy.Ocho has a history of living with kids and reportedly did okay. Since coming into rescue, he's shown that he's not a fan. For this reason, it is best that Ocho finds a forever home that does not have children in the household and we recommend slow and supervised interactions when he encounters them in the future. Ocho isn't a big fan of chaos and would prefer a chill home to spend his best years.Besides his family, what Ocho loves most is a ball. He especially likes to chew on a ball, fetch a ball, or simply sleep on a ball. If a ball is around he'll be content. He is also into toys, especially squeakers. In new spaces Ocho can initially vocalize when left alone so shared walls are not recommended. With time he is fine being left solo, just trying to work his sweetness on you.Like most Bulldogs/Boxers, Ocho can run a bit sensitive so appreciates the current medication he’s on that has helped his body heal from the previous living environment he was in. He has since become a beautiful, healthy pup.Ocho is the epitome of a dream dog and a content companion ready to bring happiness to whatever family is lucky enough to get to call him their dog.If you think Ocho could be a good fit, apply using the link below to learn more!https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
