Such a handsome fella with his crystal like eyes. Fen loves other dogs and is having a blast in doggy daycare! Boarding is no place for this boy to live though. He needs a foster home to be the best dog he can be. He is a little awkward at first because he was not really socialized after adoption with people. He is quiet and wants to make sure you are nice before giving you the pet me please. Once he trusts you, he is forever loyal. Housetrained Crate trained Walks well on a leash He is a bit clumsey and should be in a home with kids older than 12 so he doesnt accidentaly knock them over in his wiggle way. He is a star at boarding and a cuddle bug, he just needs a soft hand and voice to help know he doesn't have to worry about anything. Fen would do well with a dog savvy cat- he would perfer to love them from a distance but will not chase or bark at them. He has worked with our trainer and will continue to do so post adoption to insure a smooth transition to a new home. Hello, my name is Frodo or Fitzgerald! I’m a one year old happy energetic pup that’s listed as a Great Dane Mix. I’m overall pretty friendly with all. I am kennel trained and a great eater, which means I’m also fun to teach new tricks to! I would be best suited to go to a new home that has a schedule and lifestyle that I can be a huge part of. Since I’m young and full of energy I would do best in a fenced in yard or have the ability to have new activities I can be a part of like hiking or day trips to explore new places. I need solid leadership as sometimes I need to be a little recentered or refocused when I get over stimulated. Because of this, I would be best in a place without young children as I’m still a little uncoordinated from time to time and little kid energy is a bit confusing for me. Kids who are a little older and are interested in helping train me are definitely an exception. Basically from the get go I’m going to just need consistency throughout everyone in the household to help me learn the rules so I can settle in successfully. My current foster mom does in-home boarding at our house so I spend my days meeting new dogs and some new people, so I am pretty well socialized and very much thrive with all the constant stimulation. I do best meeting others outside my kennel in an open space, I tend to be submissive and take appropriate correction from dogs older than me, very well as I’m constantly learning ways to play with all different sizes and breeds. I can't wait to find my forever family! Handsome and lovable. Loves to cuddle on the couch or lay in the sun in his kiddie pool. His favorite treat is a kong full of peanut butter and loves to go on car rides especially if its to the dog park or a walk in the woods. He doesn't pay attention to other dogs or humans on the walk, he sticks close to you at all times but will give you a side eye to make sure you are still there. Charlie would do well in a home that is very dog focused, possibly with other dogs that are very well trained and to have companionship. Not aggressive with cats but may be better without them. Unknown with children. He knows his basic sit, shake, wait/stay. Some behaviors that need work is his dislike of kennels, resource guarding, getting his ears cleaned and toes trimmed but if he is taken on regular walks his nails wear down naturally. He loves to go in the water but only up to his belly and he's very curious of everything but also unsure so needs some help understanding the world around him.

Hi, I am Allegro! I'm a 3 year old Boxer mix that came into rescue after I was found very hungry and weak. I am so happy that I was saved and I will remind everyone of my gratitude any chance I get. My name might be because of the way I wag my tail - it is very fast and lively! Here is a quick overview, but please read more about me below, too. + Dog and human friendly (age 12+) +Crate trained (not a fan, but I'll do it) +Potty/house trained on a schedule +Knows "sit" I am still learning that going outside in the cold to go potty isn't scary and that my foster family will let me come inside again. I still hold onto some fear from my past that makes it scary to do. I'm getting better with it every day, but if it snows a lot I get nervous about going out the first few times after that. I prefer being on the couch right next to you, snuggled up to your side. I also like being close to furry friends. I do well in my kennel, but cry for a bit at first. I stay there when my foster parents leave the house. I sleep in bed with my foster parents and sleep through the night. I am very dog friendly, but I do play like the classic boxer, so my play style may not be for everyone. If a dog doesn't like it and escalates things, I may respond in kind. I have not shown any signs of resource guarding, which my family says is amazing given the circumstances. It's cold right now and since I was found outside in the cold, I'd really rather not be out there long, so we haven't tried to go on any walks. I am not scared of the leash though, and will walk on it with guidance. I've done great in the car so far and stay calm during the rides. I try to redirect dogs to stop barking incessantly when I don't feel it's necessary, which I do by nipping. I do this with kids when they are having big feelings and they start kicking and screaming. It's not done to hurt them, and I don't understand that I'm not being helpful. For this reason, I would do best in a home without young or small children or people who have this method of expressing their feelings. My perfect home is full of love and regular reassurance that I am safe and loved.
