Welcome Buddy to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 2-year old American Bulldog and Australian Cattle dog is our best guess on the mix. He has a lower coat and does shed. He is a bit of a puller on leash when he first gets out of his kennel. He is intelligent, affectionate and ready to learn. It doesn’t appear he would be hard to train but may have not had a lot of training in his first home. He would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker. He is sturdy and could keep pace and would love to join his human. He is in my opinion a perfect man dog. He loves men naturally and leans in to show his affection. He hasn’t been reactive on leash when walking around other dogs. He is social and not afraid of new people. He is exuberant so we think he would be best around children that are 8 or older. He would do great with an active family that wants an active companion. He does slow down and likes to chill out as well. He is not perpetual motion. He is getting neutered soon and is already getting his vaccinations and will be chipped. He is hw negative and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . I’m a 3-year-old Bully Mix, weighing in at a solid 68 pounds of love and loyalty. My favorite thing in the world? Being close to my people and furry friends, whether we’re playing or just chilling together. I’m a big fan of snuggles, and if there’s a blanket to curl up under with you, I’m in heaven. I’ve got my potty and crate training down pat, and I even know some commands like “sit” and “stay.” But hey, I’m still learning—sometimes I get a little distracted. Give me a treat or some praise, and I’ll be eager to impress you! I’m also great with kids, and I’d love a forever home with some humans to adore me as much as I adore them. I love my walks, but fair warning—I can get a bit excited and pull on the leash. Oh, and I definitely need a fenced yard. Hi, my name is Phoenix. I am from Arkansas. Phoenix found himself with a shelter partner of ours after escaping a life of neglect. Rescued from poor living conditions, he's blossomed into one of the happiest, best-behaved dogs you could meet. Phoenix loves to play fetch and tug-of-war, is 100% house-trained, and gets along well with other dogs. With his striking brindle patches and mismatched eyes, he's ready to find a loving forever home where he can continue to thrive! From his foster: Phoenix is a lovable old soul with a goofball side. He is such a sweet boy and has been so well behaved the entire time we've been fostering him. He's fully house and crate trained. He did bark for a few minutes the first couple times he went in the crate but he's been perfectly fine from there on out. Phoenix has been very gentle with everyone he's been around including kids and our other dog. We leave him out at night and he just crashes wherever he wants and has never been destructive with anything in the house. He's a little on the husky side so we're working on some leash training to get a little exercise but the main thing this guy wants to do is cuddle up on the couch with you and take some naps. She is young and busy, but she is quick to offer you her belly for rubs. She does best with dogs similar to her size. She prefers to be in an adult only home. Malibu spent several months living in a shelter and it has taken some  time to acclimate back to living in a home. Hi there, I’m Boomer Jr., but my foster mom calls me Boom! I’m a 6-month-old mix and a total lovebug. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home!   I’m the goodest boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups.   I’ve been polite around cats and can happily share a home with them. I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a quieter home without kids, as loud noises make me anxious.   I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in. I love my toys and have a funny habit of pulling all of them out of my toy bin and bringing them to my spot on the couch—my foster mom says it’s the cutest thing ever!   If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and fun companion, I’m your pup. Hello Boxer Lovers!  Misun here but my foster family calls me Bruno!  I am an adorable 2 year old white male that is the calmest boxer you will ever meet.  I have all the fantastic boxer characteristics like giving tons of hugs and kisses. My foster family works from home so I really need a human that is home most of the time.  I don't like to be alone and hate a kennel.  I sleep nice on my own bed on the floor in their bedroom. Of course I would rather sleep in their bed but I am pretty big.  I love naps or "resting" with my foster mom and have to be laying right up against her.    A fenced yard and a mellow playmate would be appreciated. I don't mind cats if they don't mind me.  I walk okay on a leash but can be stubborn about where I want to go so I just stop.
