Story
Meet Cairo! He is one of the last puppies available from our Cities Litter. Cairo is an American Bulldog/Pitbull mix who was born early December 2023. He is ready to say bon voyage and find his forever family! Cairo is an all around great dog. His loving, playful demeanor makes him the ideal family dog. His happy place is outdoors with his dog or human friends. He also loves any toy he's allowed to have. He is goofy, silly, and full of energy, but also loves a good snuggle session on the couch. He really is just a big, mushy love bug who wants to give and get love from humans and dogs. He is smart and very food motivated, which makes training easier. He is potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps through the night. He does well on a leash and is working on basic commands - knows "sit" and is close to knowing "crate" and "down". Cairo is kid and dog friendly, and would likely do well with cats with a proper introduction. Cairo will do well in most homes! He would love to have kids or another dog to play with, but would do well as an only dog in an active home. When applying, you are applying to meet ALL puppies in the litter. If you have an adult dog, they will accompany you during the meet and greet, and will help select the best match. Adoptions are based on connection and chemistry. Adoption is $325, which includes spay/neuter at our vet when age appropriate, vaccines to date of adoption, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Kimchi came to us when his owner went to prison. He was a very confused boy at first, but is now excited and fun! Kimchi loves toys! Stuffies, things with squeekers, chew bones, he loves them all! Kimchi would love an intimate household, with one or two people he could shower with love. He does well in his kennel, and loves yard time. Kimchi is pretty potty trained. Kimchi is available as a foster-to-adopt placement, and his adoption fee is also sponsored! Apply through our website: rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt

Story
Meet Lil! Lil is a 6-month-old American Bulldog/Pitbull mix. She is a bundle of joy with a heart full of adventure! Just like her cartoon twin, she absolutely loves the great outdoors - running, digging, finding bugs, and adding to her ever-growing stick collection. While she’s still a bit wary of water (that hose can be pretty scary!), she’s curious to see if a lake or river will be more her style. When she is out and about, she truly is the life of the party! She adores meeting new friends and loves giving kisses, radiating joy with every wag of her tail. Back at home, all she needs is a cozy lap and her favorite chew toy to keep her entertained for hours. Though Lil is deaf, that hasn’t slowed her down at all! She’s a motivated learner, especially when treats, peanut butter, or kibble are involved. She knows signed commands for “sit” and “no” and is currently working on “down” and “come.” Lil is crate trained and is mostly potty trained. Lil thrives best in a home with an adult dog who can guide her as she learns. Her independence, confidence, and spunky personality shine, but having a canine companion to help her navigate life is ideal. If you’re looking for a playful companion who’s ready to explore the world with you, Lil is eager to share her adventurous spirit and love! Adoption is $325 and includes spay/neuter at our vet when age appropriate, vaccines to date of adoption, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Story
Meet Diamond and Onyx: Two Sisters Dumped On The Street! These two gorgeous girls were found wandering the streets, alone and in need of a safe place to call home. A compassionate neighbor noticed them and spent several days ensuring they were secure and cared for. Thanks to this kindness, Diamond and Onyx are now ready to embark on a new journey toward a loving family. Both girls are incredibly sweet. They need slow introductions to other canine friends but have the potential to get along well. They can be fostered or adopted together or separately, depending on what’s best for them and you. With a bit of patience and love, they’ll show you just how fun and loving they can be. Diamond and Onyx are looking for foster-to-adopt homes where they can feel safe and cherished. Your home could be the fresh start they desperately need. Whether you’re able to welcome both sisters or just one, you’ll be giving them the gift of a loving family. Adoption is $275 if adopted individually, or $500 for the pair-which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home. We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peaks your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Story
Let's talk about Ethel! Beautiful Ethel is a one of a kind personality. She is picky about her friends but when she likes you, she LOVES you, and she let's you know it. She will 100% steal your heart when she gently places her paw in your hand. If you put it down, she will just give it back and look at you with the most loving eyes you have ever seen. Then you know, you are her chosen friend for life. Ethel was found as a stray in horrible shape. She has clearly been through a lot but that in no way has stopped her from thriving and being the sweetest girl. Her glow up has made her almost unrecognizable to those that saw her when she first was found. Ethel is guessed to be around 3 years old. Ethel will need to be the only dog and we do not recommend small children for her forever family. Cats are unknown. Ethels new family would most likely need to be female only. Yes, this is very specific but she seems to not love men, which could be due to past trauma. Specific, but we know her forever Momma is out there. She will need a loving home that adores her as much as we do. Patience and meeting her where she is at will be important as everything will be new, but she is so eager for her own family. Can that be you?
