Story
Hi, I`m Paco! I`m a sweet, goofy, playful, and cuddly fellow. My days are filled with chasing my tail and playing with my favorite squeaky toys. I`m a gentle giant, but I get startled easily, so I need a patient friend who understands me. I love to snuggle up for a good nap after a long day of play. I`m the perfect companion for someone who loves laughter and warmth. I might be a bit goofy, but I promise to fill your life with joy and unconditional love. So, why should you adopt me? Because every home needs a Paco, someone to make every day brighter and every moment worth cherishing.Ideal Home: -Must meet kids, recommend older kids

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Cyrus had parvo at a shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized as there was no room to isolate him. A foster was able to take him home and provide the medical care he needed. Now he has recovered completely and is ready to find his forever home. He is a burst of energy and constantly wants to play. He gets along well with the foster's dogs. He would not do well with cats. He needs an owner that is just as energetic and has time to take him places to burn off all that extra energy. He is still cautious with strangers but warms up  quickly. He does dig under the fence so he needs a highly  enforced yard or someone who can take him out on a leash. He loves to play with toys and will run around the yard with them. He loves attention and knows how to sit, lay down, and crawl. The foster is currently working on stay. If given the chance he will be your best friend! Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ***Adoption Fee Sponsored*** Maya is a sweet, loving, goofy, blue and white, American Bulldog mix. She's friendly to everyone she meets. She is a sweet dog that's a huge cuddle bug.  She is very smart and understands many commands. Maya is a fan favorite of the extended family of her foster mom.  When her foster mom travels for work, the doggy nannies request to watch her. She loves to sit outside in the sun and go on walks with her people.  She would do best as the only dog in the home or with a male dog partner. She warms up best to calmer male dogs. She is a calm dog but enjoys running in the yard. Maya is currently being fostered in a country setting and doing very well. She enjoys walks in the woods and down the dirt roads.  Maya is house trained, and crate trained and does fine left loose in the house. She does have food allergies so eats a specific brand of food which is Blue Buffalo Basics.   Maya would be a great companion and family member. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my name is Remy!  I hope you will take the time to read about me.  My owner needs to find me a new family because my human sibling is allergic to me and it makes living together very difficult for her.  They are sad and so am I, but we all want the best for each other, so...here I am! I am a young lady, 1 year old.  I did a stint in a doggie boot camp training program so I know some commands.  Of course I am potty trained - no proper lady isn't.  I love to run around my yard.  I really enjoy deer antlers.  They are fun to chew since toys don't stand a chance and I shred them in minutes.  I love human attention!  Overall, I am an energetic and playful good girl if I do say so myself.  But I do have a flaw [none of us is perfect!] I do like other canines, but I don't like them near me while eating out of my food bowl so my former owner fed me in my cage.  Also, I don't care for cats, so none in my new home please!  I am current on my vaccines and I am spayed.  And to top it off, I come with my crate, bed, food, leash and collar.  I am move in ready!   If you think we could be a great family together pleaase apply to adopt me. Love, Remy   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Nash is a big love bug! He loves to get petted and cuddle. He is still very much a pup so he is a bit mouthy but is working on his manners. His knows some basic commands like sit, wait, stay and high five. He is house broken and crate trained. He is very quite in his crate and really in general. Nash is not a big barker. He loves to run around the yard, play with his toys and chew bones. He doesn't chew things that don't belong to him. He is very eager to please and is a really happy boy.  We believe Nash would do best in a home with no small children because he is a strong mouthy pup that still needs to learn some manners. He will also need to be in a home without cats.Nash comes with a free training package and is also a candidate for our foster to adopt program. If you are interested in meeting, fostering or adopting please fill out an online application. Questions to cbrookszy@yahoo.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. November 4, 2024, 7:53 am

Story
Pax came to us from a multiple-dog family, so he is good with other dogs. He's also great with the children in his foster home. He's looking for a forever home . . . how about yours? He is food motivated and an enthusiastic student when training. He rides comfortably in a car, is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. He has been surrounded by a loving foster family but his public exposure has been limited. Obedience classes would be great once he's comfortable in a new environment. They would reinforce the training he's had, and would widen his world, showing him unknown humans are a source of positive attention and rewards.
