Story
MEET NOODLE! - I am in foster, please contact the shelter to set up a meeting with me. This beefy blockhead is one-of-a-kind! According to his foster, Noodle is the most playful and cuddly dog ever. He is so affectionate and is always excited to meet new people. He is equally happy to lay next to you on the couch as he is to play a riveting game of tug-of-war (spoiler alert, he always wins!). He is quite strong and would likely do well in a home without small children or other family members that are unsturdy on their feet. He enjoys other dogs and may be able to go home with one pending a slow introduction. He is truly a gem of a dog and will be a great pet for a variety of lifestyles. Noodle is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Noodle or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Story
Can you believe that face?!! This is Gus. He is a happy young guy that isso excited about life. Gus has both confidence and energy. That soundslike a perfect adventure buddy, doesnt it? Gus is also very smart andfoody, which is a great combination for training. During his short timehere at the shelter, he has been working on walking nicely on a leash. Hehas really come a long way. Next, he needs to work on his manners.Although he is not officially a puppy, he still acts like one. He willneed a patient adopter to help him become the best pup. Gus couldpotentially live with a well-matched dog friend or older kids who can helpwith his training. It would be best for everyone if he did not live withcats. Gus loves everyone. Do you think you are the family he is lookingfor? Come visit Gus at the MSPCA in Methuen on Tuesdays through Sundaysfrom 12PM to 4:30PM.

Story
Meet Sophie, a lovable senior Bulldog with a heart full of personality! Sophie is a classic Bulldog — friendly with people and great with teens, though she’s a bit selective when it comes to other dogs. She'd do best as the only dog in the home, but could potentially coexist with another dog after a proper meet-and-greet. Sophie has a soft spot for cats and will happily share her space with them. This sweet girl is a toy enthusiast! She loves balls, squeaky toys, and anything soft to chew on — just be warned, she’s not interested in sharing her prized possessions. Sophie is a food lover, so you can count on her to come running for treats or meal time. While she enjoys lounging as a self-proclaimed couch potato, she gets spunky when it’s time to play with her toys. Sophie also has a love for water, whether it's playing with the hose on a warm day or enjoying a relaxing bath. Sophie’s ideal home would be one that understands the Bulldog breed's unique traits, including their occasional stubbornness and need for a slower pace. She enjoys leisurely walks and would thrive in a fenced yard where she can enjoy her time outside. Sophie is looking for a family who can spoil her during her golden years, showering her with all the love and attention she deserves. If you’re ready to give this sweet girl a loving forever home, Sophie is waiting for you!

Story
Nash is a 2.5 year old pure bred American bully (neutered). He is 82 lbs, but he thinks he is 20!! Nash is such an amazing dog and our hearts are broken that we need to rehome him. He is super cuddly and knows all of his basic commands. He has his CGC and CGCA certifications. Even though Nash knows all his commands he is a very stubborn dog and likes to do things on his own schedule or for treats. Nash is an excellent walking buddy and does not pull on a leash at all. He does love a good walk but is just as happy spending the day on the couch. The reason we are rehoming him is because about 9 months ago him and our older dog started fighting. They have gone after each other multiple times and have given each other significant injuries. We now only have one dog out at a time and they do not interact with each other. This has become very challenging as we just had a baby 5 months ago. We can’t risk a fight between the dogs with a baby in the house.
