Meet Honey, the 2-year-old American Bulldog mix with a heart as big as her love for toys! At about 61 pounds, Honey is the perfect size for playtime and cuddles, and her energy level will keep you entertained for hours. She’s house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to most homes. Honey's foster family describes her as friendly, outgoing, confident, happy, and playful. Her love for toys is legendary—she can go through three boxes of toys a day, flipping them in the air and chasing them around. She also enjoys running in the yard, especially if there's a soccer ball to chase. With her high energy levels, she would do well in a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play safely. Despite her energetic nature, Honey loves going for walks, but she is strong on the leash. Honey's intelligence is another of her great qualities—she knows basic commands like sit, down, stay, and eyes, and she's always eager to learn more. When it comes to people, Honey is a true social butterfly. She hasn't been around young kids, but her foster family thinks she'd do well with children over 10 years old, mainly because she's still learning to play gently. With other dogs, Honey is doing well with slow introductions, but she might be happiest in a home with another active, playful dog. However, she could also thrive as an only dog, getting all the attention and playtime she craves.
