This handsome boy is Rocco! He was surrendered to the shelter on 12/30 because his family doesn't have enough time to take care of him properly. His former family did note that Rocco is house and crate trained, good with other dogs, and good with children. Rocco is a little shy in the loud, overwhelming shelter, but he's being very sweet and loving to the volunteers. He knows how to sit nicely and take treats gently. Rocco is approximately 3 years old, and weighs 62 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Rocco in kennel 86; his ID # is 16050. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. A WONDERFUL FRIEND: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 46 lbs. Hi, my name is Wilson! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the volunteers, who take great care of me, but nothing will beat a home and family of my own. I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off-site learning a lot and having fun! Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them a lot, so if you have dogs at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a friendly, fun, and happy guy with a playful, goofy, and sweet personality who is full of love. I have so much happy enthusiasm to share, and I did great during my bath, too - I even drank from the sprayer and handed out kisses. I’m a loving, affectionate boy who can’t wait to brighten your days. / Energy Level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have mastered the ‘sit’ command so far and I look forward to learning more. I’m working on my leash manners as I crisscross a bit currently. / The crate is not my favorite place, but I am learning. / I’ve had quite a few accidents on the shelter schedule and will be working on this in the prison/foster training program. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love playing with toys, especially tennis balls, and I never say no to a peanut butter treat. Chin scratches are the best, and they always make my tail wag! / I can’t think of any dislikes yet, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.
