Story
Meet Bojangles! This loving bully mix is just five months old and already the happy go lucky kind of dog that people dream of having. While adventuring and floating on the river are his favorite activities so far, this fella is also down for playing with other dogs. Despite his adventurous nature, Bojangles will also settle well in a crate and is totally up for snuggling with his person. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Thank you for your interest in a Save a Stray pet.

Story
This is Zelda, a beautiful 3-year-old female American Bulldog looking for a loving forever home. She’s healthy, has her rabies shot, and is not spayed. Zelda is house-trained and a great mix of energetic and calm she loves to play but also enjoys relaxing and being near her people. She’s protective of children, so a home with no kids would be best for her comfort and yours. She does well with other dogs, especially larger ones, but would also be happy getting all the love and attention as the only pet. Our home is growing, and unfortunately, we can’t give her the time and attention she deserves anymore. She’s such a loyal and loving dog we just want her to go to a home where she’ll be happy and well cared for. ❤️ If you think you might be the right fit for Zelda, please send me a message for more info.

Story
This unbelievably loving, gorgeous, sweet miracle girl is Snow White! She came into the pound after she was found wandering through traffic outside of a plaza, almost getting hit by several cars. It seems she was severely neglected and used for breeding, and just profoundly sad and defeated. When she came into the pound everyone’s heart was absolutely broken for her. She was so gentle and sweet with everyone, but just so sad and longing for love that she’s clearly never had. We have selected her for our home for the holidays program! She was in a kill shelter where no one could bear to put her down. No dog should ever go through life never having known love. She’s gone into an urgent short term foster care situation so that we can hopefully make her dreams come true! Snow White is 4 years old and a bit over 60 lbs. She’s a beautiful bully girl who came in looking like an entirely different dog. She’s made a radically beautiful transformation! She’s so gorgeous now and had all of her medical work completed! She’s current on all vaccines, deworming, heartworm test, and preventative and she’s also microchipped and spayed! She is an absolutely beautiful big mush with a big heart who is ready to find love! Snow Whites true love is people. Her biggest dream is to find a home where she is an only pet and can be truly loved. She loves to take walks, will go for a hike, will love riding in the passenger seat on car rides anywhere you want to go! She greets everyone with a smile and a tail wag, and is a true lover of all people. She is loving to live a life now where she can snuggle up on the sofa and watch a movie, sleep next to people at night, and feel the magic of a warm, loving, peaceful home. She just wants to be someone’s best friend and devoted companion. She’s ready to be an easy going devoted best friend. She loves to receive love, she is easy going and doesn’t require a crate but if you want her to go in when you’re not home she will kindly accept that. She walks well on leash, loads into the car well, and just has such a good heart. She would love to relax by your side in the summer months while you do outdoor chores, she’s really ready to devote herself to the true love she’s always dreamt of. She will be your absolute best girl if you just give her a chance. If she’s stolen your heart and you’d love to be the angel who gives her a bright future, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!

Story
💙 Meet Alfred – King of the Sploots, Master of the Snuggles, and Certified Big Baby 💙 If you’re ready for a dog who is basically a big, lovable couch potato with legs, say hello to Alfred — the snuggliest, splootiest, smooshiest boy to ever exist. With his big ol’ bulldog head, adorable brindle spots, and one blue eye and one brown eye, Alfred looks like someone sprinkled magic on a teddy bear and brought it to life. See for yourself in his video! https://youtu.be/WE0VFBzlGLA?feature=shared Alfred is around 6 years old and built like a loaf of love — thick, soft, and made for cuddles. We think he’s an English bulldog, Pittie mix but, we can’t be sure since he’s a rescue! His signature move is the sploot (legs stretched all the way out behind him like a frog), and he’ll plop down wherever he feels comfy, often with a dramatic sigh like he just ran a marathon (he did not). He’s a big fan of AC, squishy beds, and slow strolls that end in snacks and praise. He’s an absolute dream with kids — gentle, calm, and super affectionate. Alfred sits sweetly for treats, gives the softest little kisses, and happily soaks up attention like a big squishy sponge. He loves being part of the family, especially if that includes belly rubs, baby talk, and lounging indoors with his favorite humans. Cats? No problem! Alfred did wonderfully with feline friends — polite, calm, and respectful. He’s got that “you do your thing, I’ll do mine” energy when it comes to kitties, which makes him a great match for homes with chill, confident cats. With other dogs, Alfred prefers to keep things low-key. He’s not really into playing or roughhousing — he’s more of a vibe guy. He does well with calm dogs and can share space without issue, but he’s also totally content being your one-and-only cuddle companion. He’s not here for the drama — just the snacks, snuggles, and soft places to nap. Alfred walks on leash with enthusiasm (he’s a big boy, after all!), but he responds well to gentle guidance and positive encouragement. He’s already shown improvement with some simple leash training, and with a little patience, he’ll happily strut by your side like the handsome prince he is. He’s crate trained and loves being inside — especially when there’s air conditioning and a cozy spot to sprawl out in. Alfred isn’t the type of pup who wants to go on grand adventures or spend hours outdoors. He’s more of a “let’s chill at home and binge-watch cartoons” kind of guy — which makes him perfect for a family that loves lazy Sundays and cuddle time. Alfred would thrive in a calm home where he can decompress, get lots of love, and enjoy a routine. He might be a little unsure in new places at first, but once he settles in, his affectionate, goofy, lovable personality really shines through. He’s got so much love to give — all he needs is someone to give it to. If you’re dreaming of a gentle, sweet, squishy-faced best friend who will happily nap next to your kids, give the softest kisses, respect your cat’s boundaries, and make you laugh every single day with his ridiculous sploots — Alfred is your boy. One blue eye. One brown eye. One giant heart. Come meet Alfred and let this sweet snuggle king wiggle his way into your home — and your heart. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
