Story
Ray aka Ray Ray has been blind since birth but gets around amazingly well. This handsome chunk of a dog is full of joy and love to give to his family. He adores his walks and rides well in the car. Ray is pee pad trained. He is still working on housebreaking From his current foster: Ray comes from a sad story though Ray is the biggest chunk of overwhelming love you will ever find. He’s a happy boy. The other foster mom thinks his name is Ray because he is a big ray of sunshine! He is doing great on pee pads in a small enclosed space at night. He likes going outside for walks and loads in car eagerly. He does well with certain dogs. All he wants is love. Ray is 59 pounds and 18 inches off the ground; he's very strong and muscular so he should be in a home with adults only and/or a family with older children. He loves kisses and is a big couch hippo. This sweet boy is a lounge lizard and loves his naps and chill time.

Story
Have had him four 5 out of his eight years. Chance is very lovable, well trained. He will sit and stay, lay plus house trained! I just can’t give him the time he wants, he has always had someone home with him and kids until the last year which has caused him to be super lonely. Looking for someone that can spend more time with him.

Story
Lexi is a delightful and loving 10 month old spayed dog. She is looking for an adopter with a calm, stable environment because the kiddos and volume of visitors in her current home has her on edge. Her family has realized that, as much as they love her, their busy home isn't as compatible with Lexi's needs as they hoped it would be. She’s smart and snuggly and does great with her immediate family. Lexi has attended puppy school at Napa Humane and is a model student! She sits, stays, spins and also shakes on cue. Lexi is crate trained and sleeps through the night. This puppy is a dream in the car. She runs next to a bike and is happy as a clam. Lexi is an excellent jogging companion, and she does pretty well on a lead for a young pup. Lexi enjoys harassing the resident cat on occasion, but they have learned to cohabitate. House guests, particularly the younger variety, are especially scary because of their volume, speed and unpredictability. This makes Lexi nippy. The volume of boisterous 8- and 10-year-old visitors in her current home means that Lexi is being kenneled more than they'd like in order to prevent any issues and keep everyone safe. Her family loves Lexi and they realize that rehoming her is the best way to help Lexi feel happier and more relaxed. Thank you for sharing to find Lexi her dream home! Please email Deryn with any questions or to meet Lexi: derynpeck@gmail.com   Come see this pup during adoption event hours. Please email Linda at lbredfire@sbcglobal.net or call WT&F's Dog Team voicemail 707-812-9030 to get a jump on the process, ask questions, and/or to confirm they will be there.  Dog adoptions are held at Napa Petco on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month - 1:00pm to 4:00pm. This dog comes spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, and more with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA. Story
Meet Yukon Yukon is the most striking American Bulldog puppy you’ll ever meet. This big-hearted girl was rescued from the Central Valley after being found abandoned in a box with her siblings. At almost 11 weeks old, Yukon weighs around 20 pounds and is expected to grow into a gentle giant of up to 80-120 pounds. With her massive paws, soulful eyes, and playful personality, Yukon is ready to find her forever family. Yukon loves to romp around with her siblings and would thrive as a second dog, but she’s also independent enough to be the center of attention in an active and social home. Like her breed, she’s eager to please and will need a family committed to formal training, regular socialization, and plenty of exercise. A home with a yard and experience with large breeds is ideal for Yukon to truly thrive. The "Big Truck" Litter: What They Need in Their Forever Homes To ensure Yukon, Denali, Tacoma, and Tundra thrive, they need families who understand their unique requirements. Here are their specific needs: Commitment to Training: Enroll in formal training programs to build obedience, manners, and confidence. Dedicate time daily to practice commands and reinforce positive behaviors. Use positive reinforcement techniques as these puppies are eager to please and sensitive to correction. Socialization: Expose them to a variety of environments, people, dogs, and experiences to ensure they become well-rounded adult dogs. Continue structured, supervised playtime with other dogs to reinforce good social behaviors. Gradual, safe exposure to public settings after completing their vaccinations in six weeks. Active Lifestyles: These puppies need daily physical activity such as long walks, play sessions, and interactive games to burn off energy. Provide mental stimulation through puzzle toys, training exercises, or enrichment activities to keep them engaged. A home with a yard is mandatory; they need space to romp and explore without restrictions. Breed-Specific Understanding: Potential adopters must have experience with large, powerful breeds or be willing to learn about their traits. Be aware of their size and strength—these dogs may not always understand their own power, especially during play. Commit to making them breed ambassadors by focusing on good manners and public perception of the breed. Family Environment: These puppies thrive in active households where they are included in daily life. Homes with another dog are preferred, but they can succeed as only dogs if they receive consistent socialization and engagement. Gentle with children but best suited to families with kids over 6 years old who can interact appropriately with large, excitable puppies. Long-Term Commitment: Expect these puppies to reach up to 120 pounds full-grown—be prepared for the food costs, veterinary care, and lifestyle adjustments that come with a giant breed. Dedicate time and patience to help them grow into calm, confident adults. Understand this is a 15-year commitment to a loving, playful, and loyal companion. Health and Grooming: Adopters must commit to regular veterinary care and keeping up with vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and check-ups. Their short coats require minimal grooming, but weekly brushing and nail trims will keep them comfortable and healthy. Monitor their growth carefully—giant breeds need balanced diets to avoid joint and bone issues as they mature. These adorable pups have huge potential and even bigger hearts. Finding the right homes with families who truly understand their needs is essential to their success. If you think you’re ready to take on the challenge and joy of raising one of these amazing puppies, we’d love to hear from you!
