They can't take Dollar with them. We're happy they've asked rescue to help find Dollar a new home rather than taking him to the shelter or worse. Currently Dollar is living outside in the yard. Bully breeds do not do well in the heat, and summer is just around the corner. Dollar is friendly, well behaved and good with children and other dogs. Dollar is very affectionate and would make a great companion for just about anyone. He's only 2 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 50 lbs. Sporty Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday. Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with children that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in. Spots does well with some dogs that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and has owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned to sit, stay, and lay down. Overall, Spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. He also is very protective of his home and loves to keep patrol of his yard! He loves toys and water and would make the perfect travel buddy! This dog is wonderful for someone who has more time! And not a house with many stairs! She is very well potty trained, but my house contains a large staircase to reach the dog door, unfortunately her hips are getting weaker with age and I think she has become unable to make it down there easily enough to use the bathroom. I work 14 hour shifts Sun-Wed, and 10s on Thursday/friday. Unfortunately she cannot hold it in long enough for me to get home, and it’s starting to cause damage to my hardwood floors. I just started this job last week, and my schedule is set for 6 months. I feel awful she spends all day alone, so I’m hoping someone will be able to take her in. If you WFH that would be ideal, but anything with a regular 40hr schedule would work. She knows not to go in the house, and I’ve never had an issue until now, if you have a yard or lawn on the same floor she lives on, you will never see any problems. She can be slowly introduced to new dogs, just use caution! No people issues
