Story
Bruno and Leala are very loving, kind and non-aggressive bulldogs. Both are very well mannered and will make good family members to the right family. I have raised them from puppy stage 1 year 3 months. I do not have the time that these dogs require. I must find a home or turn them over to others for processing. I do love these dogs but do not have the time needed or patience to keep them. I believe that they would make someone a perfect pet.

Story
NURSING MO 3 PUPSHello, my name is Lenore and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.  I am a bit shy when I meet a new person.  My foster mom has been introducing me to new people and situations but it takes me time to realize that it isn't scary.  I really enjoy playing with the other dogs at my home and I like to be around my human. I know how to use a dog door and love to hang out on the couch. .  A patient home that has the time to teach me how to be my best self would be best for me. I have a lot of love to give.  Please consider me as your forever companion. No small dogs or cats. Apply to adopt by clicking on the link below http://www.wagsandwhiskerspetrescue.com/adopt.html Thank you so much for looking into wags and whiskers for your next family member. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.  Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.  If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment.  530-895-8888 If you are interested in meeting this pet please apply to adopt at http://www.wagsandwhiskerspetrescue.com/adopt.html if the pet is still available for adoption and you are approved to adopt we will contact you to set up a meet and greet appointment.    November 6, 2024, 11:54 pm

Story
Gloria – A212878Female, Gray American Bulldog Pit MixLocation: Yolo County Animal ServicesAge: UnknownWeight: 50.00 pounds About Gloria:Gloria is a stunning and gentle girl with beautiful gray fur and a friendly personality. She has been at Yolo County Animal Services since December 16, 2024. Though adopted briefly, Gloria is “too interested” in the cats.  So unfortunately she had to be returned.  She’s great with new people and did well with kids. Gloria loves to play and walks well on a harness, making her a joy to take on outings. Her first adoptive family included a bed and several goodies, showing just how loved she was. Gloria can be a bit pushy when meeting other dogs because of her playful nature – some dogs find her enthusiasm overwhelming. However, her friendly and approachable demeanor makes her likely compatible with the right furry friends. Gloria also appears to be potty trained, with no accidents in her kennel – she went potty quickly outside and even pooped shortly after. Although she looks small, Gloria weighs a solid 50 pounds, giving her the perfect medium-sized build. Gorgeous Gloria is eager to find her forever home, where she can share her love and affection with a family ready to welcome her with open arms.
