Story
ET is a 2-1/2 yr, @30 lb. chocolate tri bulldog mix.  He is so happy, busy and active. Loving with all people, including kids. With other dogs, he's done well with the medium to big dogs in his area here, though occasionally he needs to warm up to a new dog.  He may do best as an only dog in the home.  He was a stray/abandend with 2 similar dogs, now adopted, Stitch and Chupacabra. Email application to get an appointment.  We set 1 hr appts Wed thru Sun between 10 am and 2 pm.  *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Story
Mantis is about 18-20 lbs so far and @5 months old. She came with 2 siblings- sister Gamora (black) and brother Quill (brown). She is a nice little lady. She's not as active as Gamora, though she does like her playtime. Friendly and loving.  She has had her full series of puppy shots. She also needs to be spayed and will not be able to leave before then- but she can be visited and spoken for before that.  Note that we often ask that, for our little puppies, new owners be able to be home frequently at first because of the time and attention a new puppy needs. She will need house and leash training.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Story
Quill is a cute little guy, about 20 lbs and @5 months old. Brown. He's here with  his sisters Gamora (black) and Mantis (fawn). He is very friendly and affectionate, and he loves to play. Very good with other dogs. We don't know his breeds, but he looks kind of like a tiny boxer. He has had his full series of puppy shots. He still needs to be neutered. But he can be visited and spoken for before then. You may email us for an appointment. For our young puppies, we usually ask that new owners be able to be home often at first because of the time and attention a new puppy needs. He will need to learn house and leash training.  Learning lots about being a good puppy in foster home.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Gamora is @20 lbs so far and about 5 months old. Black with white. She is a funny, roly poly, playful little girl who loves everyone. She is here with her two siblings- brother Quill (brown) and sister Mantis (fawn).  It's hard to tell their breeds. They have a somewhat pittie look (though they are too small), and some of them have more wrinkling on their noses, like bulldogs.....possibly staffie or bullie mixed with ?  Full size anticipated to be 40 lbs based on current age/size They can go to new homes after they are sterilized...soon as we can get vet appts. They have their  full series of puppy shots done. Gamora also needs to be spayed, but she may be spoken for before then. If you are interested in her, email us for an appointment. Story
This young girl came to us from the Barstow area as a stray with 4 sisters and her mama. We don't believe she will get much bigger than 50lbs. She is fairly energetic but not super energetic. She does have a calmer side to her but she still a puppy. She will need some training and has been outside so she will need inside training as well. She is such a great girl and super sweet! She would love to find her fur-ever home. Please message us if you have any questions.
