Story
Bennett ~ the adorable little boy who is looking for a forever home that already has a young male feline who also needs a best buddy! Bennet is a longer bobtail mix and his coat is a tabby bullseye.  Bennett is a social, happy guy who gets very lonely when he is alone. He is drawn to other house pets in his foster home and has been playing with 2 big guy cats, following them around and jumping at their tails. He has recently been introduced to two new foster kittens, a brother and sister. He finds them to be more fun then the older cats and he is now a true friend to the two new kittens. He does seem to do better with male cats/kittens. He is a bit rough on the girl kitten, but ends up snuggling with both. You can see in one of the photos where all three are relaxing in a hammock.  Bennett has spent time with a little girl who is gentle, playful and fun to be around. He enjoys being held, but wants to get down when he is ready to play!  Bennett LOVES wet food and he prefers wet food over dry. He will only nibble on dry food and devours the yummy wet food.                                                                                                                Bennett's foster home has 2 small cat friendly dogs which he finds intriguing. No fear of cat friendly dogs! If you want to meet Bennett, please fill out and submit your pre-adoption application. On your application, please tell Bennett and Cat's Cradle all about your other kitty so Bennett can learn about his new best buddy. The next step would be a zoom meet and greet and if all goes splendid, you can meet him in person!  (toddlers may be a bit overwhelming for Bennett) For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. $150 Adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 12, 2025, 12:02 am

Story
Monkey is a very sweet, active, and energetic Tabby Manx. He loves to be around people, play, have treats, and sleep in comfy beds. He was born with Manx Syndrome, which is similar to Spina Bifida in humans. Since he has no tail, it affects the nerves in his back end causing him to not be able to feel when he needs to use the litter box. He is able to poop and pee on his own but doesn't know when it is happening. To make sure he doesn't get constipated he is on a mainly wet food diet. To help with the incontinence he is in a diaper and a onsie or surgery recovery outfit to help keep the diaper in place. Monkey will need a home that understands his needs and is able to keep him clean and change him. He will need to have someone who knows the signs of when he might start getting constipated. He had been prescribed a medication to help keep him regular, but it became too much for his system so he was taken off of it and just given the wet food. Sometimes if he seems to be getting constipated he will be given some Miralax. As he's gotten older he hasn't needed it as often. Monkey has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested for feline leukemia and aids. If you are interested or have questions about him please go to www.sccpets.com to fill out an application. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.February 10, 2025, 2:49 pm
