PLEASE READ: If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, please apply online at www.catdogfriendrescue.com. Please do NOT call or send inquiries via Adopt A Pet or PetFinder as we are a small rescue and cannot handle a large influx of inquiries and phone calls. You can email us at acatsfriendinc@gmail.com if you have questions, but if you would like to be considered for adoption, you must fill out an application. Please note if you are applying for a kitten under six months of age, you must have another friendly kitty in the home or adopt another kitten. Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. Story
Pink is a year old bobtail with LOTS of energy. She’s very shy of strangers but once she’s comfortable she’ll want to cuddle nonstop. I can't afford to keep her so I'm looking for a dedicated lifelong home.

Story
Rogue like his brother Pickles, has a darling short tail about 4” and is still rather skittish. He also has a larger frame and large paws. Although very shy, once encouraged he loves to be pet and will relax, hang out and purr. He is still a little nervous around children and tends to hide, but gets along with his siblings. We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159  Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at 540-987-6050 or email us at adopt@rappcats.org. October 2, 2024, 10:57 pm
