Story
This is Opal. Her feral mama showed up with 4 kittens in tow over the summer. We trapped mom and spayed her when the kittens were old enough to be weaned and fixed. We've been working with them to socialize them. Opal is a bob-tail and she is very shy. We're working very hard with her to get her to trust us. She loves the other kittens and tries to play with the ferrets in her foster home. She enjoys the catio too. She has not been around dogs and at this time we're trying to find her a nice quiet home where she can be given the time and energy to come out of her shell. She will come and play with toys when you initiate play. She's spayed, ear-tipped, negative for FIV/FeLV and has been vaccinated.

Story
Please consider sponsoring a cat. For a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need.Cyd adopted Bugs Buddy to save him from returning to an unhealthy & overcrowded living situation. Bugs has been living happily at Cyd’s home but sadly needs a new forever person. Cyd passed away in January and sweet Bugs is waiting to be chosen. He gets along with all the other kitties in foster care and patiently waits his turn for pets, love and treats.  Bugs likes to cuddle and be brushed. He is still quite young (2) and would love someone to play with.  Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Story
What a LOVE! This kitten is so sweet and laid back.  She does not meet a stranger and purrs like crazy. She has a cute little bob tail and loves being held. Whoever adopts this sweet rescue is getting one very, very special girl! If you are interested in adopting, please go to straylovefoundation.org and fill out an adoption application. Each of our rescues will be COMPLETELY vetted (which includes a combo test, worming, spay/neutered, vaccines, and micro-chipping). We do all in our power to assure our rescues are as healthy as possible and live a long happy life. There is always a chance that an animal we have rescued will have a genetic health issue (since they are rescues there is no way that we can know their family history) or one of our tests falls in that low percentage of false-negative category or a they contract a rare disease that we have no way of knowing about or they contract under your care. We cannot guarantee 100% that your pet will live the 15 to 20 years we hope for but with all that we do for them, the chances are incredibly strong that they will. Transportation fees, when applicable, vary by distance/expense. Home checks may be conducted. We are asking for an adoption donation of $148. On most animals, a tax-deductible adoption donation of $148 is required upon approved adoption application. (This is a fraction of our vet expenses and you are always welcome to donate more.) HOWEVER, when we rescue a special breed, ridiculously adorable, or unusual color, we ask for a higher donation which helps towards our vet expenses. If you can't adopt, donate or sponsor, if you can't donate, volunteer! Tax-deductible donations can be made via PayPal using our email address: info@straylovefoundation.org. Or you can click on the donate button on our FB page (StrayLoveFoundation Magnolia Springs) or click on the donate button on our website home page at www.straylovefoundation.org.
