Hi! My name is Molly! I'm an Akita mix but think like a teddy bear. I came to the shelter as a stray with my friend Hershey. I came in first and didn't do well by myself. I was sad and confused not knowing why Hershey didn't come with. It didn't take long though. Hershey likes to run and got away from our owner again. I was excited to see him and was back to my bouncing self. We need to go home to our new home together!Ask about us today!

Finnegan is a smart energetic dog looking for a family ready to continue his training.  As an Akita/German Shepherd mix, Finnegan is a working dog with a strong protective drive. He loves to be outside, playing and roughhousing with his canine friends.  Finnegan is looking for an active home where he can direct his energy toward mental and physical activities and exercise. He gets along well with both dogs and cats in his foster home, and would likely do well with older children.  If you have experience with working breeds like Akitas and are ready to guide Finnegan through consistent obedience training, he is ready to be a devoted pet who will love and protect you! Stop by our weekly adoption events on Saturdays from 12-4 pm at 372 Townline Road in Mundelein, IL 60060 to meet our adoptable animals in person. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. Breezy is the sweetest little nugget at 20+ pounds, so she should remain a medium sized girl. While she is listed as a Husky mix, her demeanor and coat are currently that of a lab - she is fairly calm for a puppy and is medium energy. She has exceptional manners at events where she has been great with adults, kids and dogs of all sizes. She walks nicely on a leash and will do her business on a walk as well. She keeps her kennel clean.
