Story
Kiko is sweet and loving. She is a purebread Akita and is 4 1/2 years old. We are her original owners, but she did live with someone for a few months while we were in the process of selling our house and moving. Kiko is a loving companion who wants to be by your side and gets excited to see you when you come home. She is great with my two little kids (was even great with my son when he was a newborn). Kiko does lick you every now and tends to jump up on people when she gets excited to see you. She can get too excited when playing with little dogs and can get aggressive with them if she senses their fear. Although, we have a small 10lb pomeranian who she does well with. Anyone who is good at training a dog on these things would do well with Kiko. I'm going through a divorce and am working full-time with two little kids, so I am not able to give Kiko the attention she needs. I'm hoping to find a good home for Kiko where she can get the love and attention she deserves.

Story
Odin is a sweet, protective boy who loves to play and be with his inner circle of humans. We have too many visitors coming in and out of our home each day due to the fact that we run multiple businesses from home. He is very protective of his family, has been around young children his whole life. He does well outside, especially during the colder months. He is protective when strangers are around. He is very eager to please, and follows commands when there is positive reinforcement. He must be in a fully fenced in yard, he is very smart, loves to be with his people, but is ok being left home alone as well.

Story
Rrrrruffff! I'm Kya! I'm a happy and smiley girl! I love people and I'm a very sweet girl. I can be a tiny bit anxious but with time I come out of my shell pretty easily! I'm a cattle dog mix, and I have some white, brown and black in my coat! I'm quite beautiful, and I smile often! I'm dog friendly, I currently go out with two other large female foster sisters and a foster brother! At first, I try to work and will to herd everyone. That's my job, so that's what I do! But,, I play and jump around once I know my duties have been completed! I'm potty and crate trained! My foster Mom lets me out in the yard (fenced in), and I get to play with others and do my business. When I'm all done, I go straight to my crate, where I'm fed and given water! I do like to play in the water too, sometimes I just stand in it. I'm a great adventure partner too, I love adventures! The only adventures I go on right now are to Home Depot, Marshall's, and my favorite...the drive thru at Starbucks! I get to get a pup cup every time! Watch how good I was at my last trip to Marshall's with my Foster Mom here: https://youtu.be/CJkoorJ859w?feature=shared I'm so happy that I'll be able to find my forever home soon. I would love to provide all the love and affection to someone or a whole family! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
Hi! My name is Chihiro and I'm female. I am located in Salina UT at the FMAR, around 8 years old and I am vaccinated and spayed. My life has not been easy. I was kept in a small room that I could barely fit in and I was used as a tool for breeding. When I couldn't be used anymore they dumped me at a shelter. Because of how often I was forced to be with other dogs, I don't care for them all too much, but I get along with cats and people wonderfully! I have so much love to give, and I am the biggest goofball! I still love to play despite my past and my age, I have so much spring in my step because I'm just excited to be alive! I adore people and anyone who's willing to give me a chance. Will you take that chance on me?
