Enola is a super sweet girl once you take the time to get to know her. We originally adopted her from the humane society and she was a perfect fit to our home. She is house trained, crate trained, is amazing on a leash. She is a little food aggressive and not good with small animals. She will need an experienced adopter. Enola is extremely affectionate and loyal to her family. We are moving and unable to take this amazing girl with us, if you are interested please feel free to ask questions and contact me!

Story
Meet Lily!Lily is a stunning 3-year-old, 63-pound Akita mix with striking blue eyes and a heart full of love. Found as a stray, she was struggling to care for her own puppies and a few other newborns that had been left with her. Despite her tough start, Lily has shown nothing but sweetness and incredible maternal care. This gentle girl is wonderfully patient—she even allowed her temporary foster to give her a bath without any fuss! Lily knows how to walk on a leash and waits patiently for her walks to do her business, making her an easy companion.Lily is ready to leave her challenging past behind and find a forever home where she can be cherished for the amazing dog she is. Could Lily be the one for you?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

These pups are in New Braunfels, Texas too!

Story
Meet Prince – Your Loyal and Adventurous Companion Prince is a stunning 3-year-old Siberian Husky with a heart as big as his beautiful coat. This resilient boy was found as a stray, already neutered and microchipped, but sadly, his owner never came forward. When rescued, Prince’s fur was so severely matted that it required removal under anesthesia, revealing painful sores underneath. Now fully healed, Prince is ready to leave his past behind and find the loving forever home he deserves. True to his breed, Prince is a spirited and adventurous pup who loves to explore. While he enjoys outdoor time, his ability to climb fences means he needs a home with supervised outdoor activities or a family committed to taking him on walks and adventures. He rides like a dream in the car, making him a perfect partner for road trips or weekend getaways. Indoors, Prince is an affectionate and loving companion who adores snuggling up with his people. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a great addition to a home with canine siblings. Though he’s still working on his potty training, Prince is eager to please and will thrive with consistency and patience. If you’re searching for a loyal, playful, and adventurous friend who will shower you with affection, Prince might just be the perfect match. With his resilient spirit and loving nature, he’s ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love, care, and endless adventures. Could Prince be the missing piece of your family? Prince is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX but can be transported out of state. Adoption fee is $250 in Texas, $600 out of state to cover the health certificate and transport costs.

I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.Hi, my name is Mya (used to be Cynthia). I’m a female two year-old Siberian husky. The first thing I want you to know about me is I am extremely timid, but it’s only because I’m trying to figure things out with my new family. It will take me plenty of time to warm up to you, but once I do I will be completely yours. I’m not the least bit aggressive toward other dogs or cats, and am very cautious until I get comfortable with them. I am very smart, alert and curious. I taught myself how to use my foster’s dog door the first day by watching their dogs. I am house trained, and a very comfortable in a crate. You can crate me when necessary at first as I feel safe when introduced to new circumstances. I have no food aggression when eating in close vicinity of other animals. As an adolescent husky, I have tons of energy and need to be stimulated and exercised daily to purge some of my energy. I am not a chewer but enjoy stuffed animals and bones of different kinds. Simply put, you’ll need to go slow with me, but I’m WORTH IT!HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Some of these animals may not be available for adoption at this moment, but you can always call the shelter at 830-629-5287 for clarification on the adoption process or the animal's current status.
