Story
This is Liza and she has been with Chloe’s Pet Rescue since she was a newborn. She turned three years old on 2/3/2024. We aren’t sure why she hasn’t found her “furever” home. She’s such a beautiful girl. Liza is very friendly when meeting new people (after a few sniffs and she’s good to go) and is good with other dogs. In fact, if it looks like another dog wants to get into a tiff, she walks away. Liza is energetic and loves to go outdoors. She’s great walking on a leash, knows come here, stop, breakfast and dinner and is crate and house trained. One of her favorite things to play with is a ball. Something she does not like is rain and thunder. Don’t go out and buy a new bed for this girl because she will chew it up, just throw a blanket down and she is very happy. Liza’s adoption fee is $25, which includes her full vetting.

Story
Age: 3 years Weight: 40 lbs Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Good with kids: Unknown Activity level: High Shedding Level: High Training: Basic, Leash Skylar is a gorgeous husky/shepherd mix with striking blue eyes. He is about 3 years old. Skylar had been injured during his time on the streets and had TPLO surgery on his leg last year. He has since recovered nicely. He absolutely loves to run and play! He likes to try to be in charge, but takes correction well. He loves to play with other dogs and get out his energy. He gets nervous with quick movements and takes a minute to adjust to new people and situations. With a little patience and plenty of treats he will warm right up and ask for pets. Once he is comfortable, he loves pets, giving kisses, and cuddling! He will even gently reach over and pull your hand back with his paw if you stop petting him before he is ready.  Skylar finished his training on basic obedience commands and socialization and is ready for a foster or forever home! Does Skylar sound like your kind of guy? Email placement@duckteam6.org or visit our website to fill out an application.March 21, 2025, 2:04 pm

Story
Meet Bergkamp, a 15-month old, 60-pound husky mix with tons of energy and tons of love to give! Bergkamp can be spotted quickly for his big ears (especially the left one that likes to stand at attention!) and his long, curly tail that he likes to wag during all of his favorite activitiesâ&#194&#128&#194&#148going on walks, wrestling with his dog friends, or showing off his ability to sit and stay. Bergkamp is a playful pup, but he also loves to find a bone and chew away for hours. With a walk and some snuggles heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll be happy all day. Bergkamp is up to date on all vaccinations, including rabies, and is neutered and microchipped. Bergkamp is highly trainable and loves to show you what he knows, especially if there is a treat involved! He is crate trained, house trained, and is working on his leash skills. He still is growing out of his puppy energy so he does well with someone who can take him on walks and let him run around and will help him remember what he can and cannot play with! He loves playing chase with the other dog in the household and loves to wake up and wrestle for a bit and run around the yard. He is great with kids (his recent home had a 2-year old and a 4-year old) and loves other dogs once heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s been properly introduced. Bergkamp can be a bit skittish around some people but if he loves you he will shower you with attention! Bergkamp has participated in in-house and boarding training and takes to it very well. He knows: Spot, Sit, Stay, Touch, Leave It, Down, Shake, and is working on heel. Bergkamp is loving with the other dogs in the house once he gets to know them. The reason we are re-homing is because he is very afraid of my husband and has been since they first met. He is never aggressive but we havenâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t been able to improve the fear (which results in barking, cowering, hiding behind me) and I know that he will be happier in a house where he doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t ever worry about being afraid. He has only shown this fear with my husband and my husbandâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s father, so I feel confident that he will be the perfect pet for another family since he is so wonderful with other dogs and with children and me! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Bergkamp, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
Biscuit is a loveable, energetic, cuddly one-year old husky/shepherd mix. He is one year old and 65 pounds. He is white with a large black stripe down his back, with one blue eye and one blue/brown eye. He has been in our home from 10 weeks old and has enjoyed a life of plentiful belly rubs, ear scratches, treats, and family love. He enjoys laying next to his master, laying outside in the shade, and endless wrestling with his littermate, Gravy. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Biscuit is crate and house trained. Biscuit is smart and very food-motivated, so treats are helpful but watch out for food on the counters. He is protective of his family and has a bit of anxiety when meeting new people and has had very little interaction with other dogs or children. He has been in a home with two small (under 7 years) children. Rehoming is due to not fault at all to this beautiful boy, we are just no longer able to keep up with his general needs. We love Biscuit with all of our hearts, but feel that he will do best in a home where he can get more attention, training, and freedom to run. Biscuit will come with his crate, accessories, and toys. Would love to keep Biscuit and Gravy together if you have room for two, as they are a bonded pair, however we understand this may not be possible. We hope to pair Biscuit with a loving, energetic family with a large yard. High (5â&#194&#128&#194&#153+) fences recommended. You will love Biscuit, everyone does. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s smart, fun, cuddly, and sweet.
