Story
If you’re looking for a sweet, soft-hearted companion with classic husky charm (and a few endearing quirks), DC the Mixmaster may be your perfect match! DC is a lovely, gentle boy who thrives on kindness and reassurance. Though he’s six years old, he has the heart of a big, cuddly baby—especially when he’s feeling unsure. Loud, defensive, or aggressive-sounding dogs can scare him, and he’ll quietly tuck his tail and hide behind his trusted person for comfort. When he’s anxious, DC self-soothes in the sweetest ways: gently mouthing his bed, a tennis ball, a plush toy, or a special blanket. He knows exactly what’s his, too—he leaves kids’ toys untouched even when everything is scattered in an exciting pile on the floor. He doesn’t chew destructively, and he never mouths people. Despite his sensitive side, DC absolutely lights up when he sees friendly dogs. He wiggles, prances, and gets adorably overexcited, hoping everyone wants to be his friend. He also loves people—all people. He greets strangers with open enthusiasm and has zero interest in guarding a door, fence, or home. DC has shown wonderful manners with kids and teens of different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. He is gentle with a cautious 8-year-old, affectionate with a loving 15-year-old, and comfortable around a tall, rough-and-tumble 18-year-old. His calm, patient nature makes him a great fit for a home with respectful children. This sweet, affectionate boy has so much love to give. DC the Mixmaster is ready to join a family that will help him feel safe, cherished, and confident. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, laughter, and endless husky charm. Ready to make DC part of your story? He’s more than ready to become your newest best friend. 🐾💙

Story
The Butterfly-Chasing Guardian A loyal heart with a spring in her step, Suki will make your world feel grounded and bright! She's confident when she’s keeping watch and lighthearted when the work is done. When she's off duty, you’ll find her rolling in the grass, trotting after butterflies, settling down for long indoor naps, and giving herself a daily back massage on her favorite “tickle tree.” What Makes Her Shine: loyal, steady, eager to follow your lead. A Day in the Life: Wake up, BIG STRETCH, rushing outside to greet the birds and the bees, breakfast, a slow on-leash morning stroll, followed by a long loungey indoor nap, some more outdoor patrolling, maybe a yummy marrow bone, more naps, being brushed (and adored), dinner, maybe a light jog or trail adventure, finishing the evening with some quiet porch time. Her Pet Peeves: crowded or chaotic spaces, surprise introductions (she appreciates slow, polite hellos from new people), sharing her person with other pets or young kids, and swimming (unless she thinks you need rescuing). The Way to Win Her Over: melon and blueberries Skills: crate, leash, and muzzle trained • reliable recall • great house manners Commands: sit, come, wait, stay, down, back, out, off, paw, crate Best Fit: an adults-only, low-traffic home (ideally rural) with a devoted human who appreciates a smart, protective companion with a little sparkle in her eye. Suki's ready to get off the apps and meet her perfect match! Reach out today to set up a first date (porch hang + short walk). Not able to adopt? A quick share to your ranch or rural circles might help Suki find her dream home. https://youtu.be/BhVdi5mSWWc

Story
Meet Zoro: the most majestic and goofy cuddle bug you've ever met! Everyone comments on how striking his eyes and mane are, but he's more than just a pretty face. Be aware, he will make cute little husky sounds if he wants your attention. It's hard to ignore his puppy-dog eyes when he wants to go for walks. Zoro is also very athletic! He's a great running buddy and will play fetch with you. He's intelligent and treat-motivated so he loves brief training sessions and already knows how to sit, lie down, and shake. Zoro tends to be suspicious of new people but it's amazing how quickly he becomes affectionate once he realizes you're just another friend who can give him some love. Check out my Instagram page @misterzoro.dawg Come set up a time to meet Zoro and learn what a fun and fluffy dog he is!
