Story
Hi there, I`m Milkshake! I`m an energetic guy who loves to play, but I also know when it`s time to mellow out. I`m friendly with everyone I meet, but I must confess, I`m not the best at making friends with other dogs. I`ve got some medical needs, but don`t let that scare you. I promise, with a little extra care, I can be your best friend. I may need a bit more attention than other dogs, but I promise to repay you with endless love and loyalty. Adopt me and let`s make wonderful memories together!

Story
Ben was born in a high kill shelter on 2/3/2021. He was a day old when we brought him home along with his 10 siblings and his mother. All that remains is Ben and his mom Lily. They have been waiting patiently. But now it is thThis is Ben and he has been with Chloe’s Pet Rescue since he was a newborn. He is now going on three years old. We aren’t sure why he hasn’t found his “furever” home. He’s such a handsome guy. We believe he is an Akita/American Pit Bull mix. Ben is very friendly when meeting new people (after a few sniffs and he’s good to go) and is good with other dogs. In fact, if it looks like another dog wants to get into a tiff, he walks away. Ben is energetic and loves to go outdoors. He’s great walking on a leash, knows come here, stop, breakfast and dinner and is crate and house trained. One of his favorite things to play with is a ball. Something he does not like is rain and thunder. Don’t go out and buy a new bed for this guy because he will chew it up, just throw a blanket down and he is very content. Ben’s adoption fee is $25, which includes his full vetting.

These pups are in Arlington, Texas too!

Story
Meet Milo!Milo is a 45 pound, 5 year old Husky mix who will immediately steal your heart. He came to us from a shelter, where he was dropped off by his previous owner for developing glaucoma, which ultimately led to blindness. Milo’s disability doesn’t slow him down one bit! Most who come into contact with him don’t even notice he can’t see until it’s told to them. Calm-natured and gentle-mannered, this sweet boy makes friends easily with all humans. Milo is very well behaved, hardly ever barking and never engages in destructive behaviors. Milo will do just about anything for a good treat, and is very smart, making him easy to teach new tricks. He’ll be your loyal pal forever if given his favorites - peanut butter or beef marrow bones! Milo is low-energy, but does love to play with his human every now and again. Long walks and learning new tricks are among some of his favorite activities. Milo would do well in both a house or apartment building, as he is low-energy and rarely barks. He does love to spend time outdoors, so a fenced yard or balcony is a plus! Milo loves to be around his people, and enjoys all the snuggles he can get! However, Milo does just fine being left alone if needed and will happily greet you when you return. Milo is crate and house trained, and has not had an accident since being in our care. Though he is crate trained, his foster does not often crate him as he is calm and not destructive. Milo would need slow and proper introductions to other dogs in the home. He would need a friend who is low-medium energy and is patient with him, given his disability, which sometimes leads to him bumping into others/objects.Milo’s glaucoma requires daily eyedrops, which are necessary to prevent pain and disease progression. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Hi! I’m Buffy. I’m on the smaller side of medium size and I’m almost one year old! If you’re looking for the cutest little furry Valentine around, look no further! Here I am!I was adopted but recently had to come back to Saving Hope due to changes in my adopter’s life, and through no fault of my own. Now, I’m excited to find my forever home!My foster family says that I’m an exceptionally good girl. I sleep well in my crate at night, and I know to go stand by the door when I need to go outside to potty. I’ve adjusted to my foster home routine quickly, and they think I’m one of the sweetest, happiest, and funniest dogs they’ve seen. I admit that I’m a little snuggle bug and love to cuddle up with my foster family on the couch for belly rubs and naps. They talk all the time about how cute I am, especially the way my ears bend backwards at the top. Even strangers comment on how cute my ears are. Speaking of strangers, I love to meet people and never bark at them. I’m not much of a barker in general.I have a furry foster brother who is bigger than me, but once we were introduced, and we each set our boundaries, we’ve been great. We love to play outside together, whether we’re playing tug-o-war, chasing each other around the yard, or just soaking up the sun. My foster parents think I’d be fine in a home by myself too because if I have toys to play with, I’m a pretty content girl. I love going on walks and do well on a leash. I can get excited when I see new things or sniff new smells, but I do try to remember my walking manners. I still have puppy energy, so it’s important to have toys for me to play with and that I can chew on. I’m not sure how I’d do with cats but there’s one that frequently wanders into the yard and while I’ve never approached her, I haven’t chased her off either. If you’re looking for a cute little fuzzy family member, here I am! I’d love to be your Valentine this year.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Story
Meet Bluey! My name is Bluey, I’m 4 years old and I’m a husky/shepherd mix. I’m a beautiful well behaved girl with beautiful eyes. I don’t have the husky yodels or all that hair! I love cuddles, hugs, and snuggles. I’m the best babysitter to little humans and play very gently around them. I love car rides, long walks, (I’m a pro on the leash) hiking, camping, early morning runs and I love to go outdoor patios to people watch. I’m a very smart girl. I’m potty trained, crate trained, use a doggy door, love the water. I can be the only dog or have siblings. I would prefer brothers my size or bigger cause I like to be the boss. No cats, rabbits, or chickens please. My one requirement is have have an allergy to meat (yep no joke I get Very sick) All meat proteins so I’m a vegetarian and require special Rx food. If you think you want to meet me let my Mom know and she will make it happen. I’m looking forward to meeting you.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step.
