Story
Meet Molly - your soon-to-be furry best friend! If you're looking for a dog that has it all, you've come to the right place. Molly is friendly, playful, curious, funny, affectionate, smart, a bit shy, submissive and athletic! She's basically the ideal dog. Now, you may be wondering why such a perfect dog is up for adoption. Unfortunately, Molly's previous owners lost their home, and she lost her family :(. Molly does great with other dogs and she loves to play in water! She can be a bit reserved in New situations, but that doesn't last long! She knows sit and she is eager to learn more! Molly is hoping to find her forever home this time --- could it be yours? Meet Molly (formerly known as Miley)! Breed: akita/mix. Age: almost 4 years, approx birthdate 12/22/20. Weight: approx 50lbs. Training: crate, leash, and house trained. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes, she does great with other dogs. No cats. Good with adults/kids? Yes. She is a bit shy/reserved upon first meeting and in new situations, but that doesn't last long. Personality: timid/reserved at first, but she warms up to be playful and affectionate! She loves attention but she can also entertain herself. She loves toys. She loves belly rubs and when you stop, she will paw for more :). She loves to play in the kiddie pools during the summer. Reason for rescue: originally, Molly came into rescue as part of an accidental litter. She was adopted in 2021 and recently returned due to owners losing their home. Molly is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application! Adoption fee: $75.December 21, 2024, 10:43 pm

Story
Maiko is a two-year-old female AKC registered American Akita. She is a beautiful dog and has the cutest personality. She is not a big barker, but she loves to talk (in her own unique way) and greet her humans when they get home. She loves all toys, but her favorite are tennis balls. She is laid back most of the time but can get the zoomies here and there and it is hilarious. She walks pretty well on a leash and is potty trained. We do still kennel her when we leave the house to be safe, but overall, she is a well-mannered lady in the house. We are devasted to rehome her, she has been such a bright light in our lives, however, she has had some behavioral issues with our small children and other dogs that family or friends have brought over. She loves our German shepherd Leo that she was raised with, but I am not sure about any other pets. We want to find her a loving home that does not have small children in the home, or if there are on occasion, she can be separated from.

Story
Meet Meekah - yes, yes, we all know Christmas is over, but someone needs to call Santa ASAP because he forgot his head sled dog! And let me tell you, she is not happy about it. Meekah is a gorgeous 3 yr old Akita, and up to date on all her vaccines. This girl is looking for someone to foster or adopt her until she can hitch a ride back to the North Pole. But fair warning: if you’re too sweet to her, she just might decide to stick around - and before you know it, she’ll be dragging your sleigh to the grocery store!

These pups are in York, South Carolina too!

Story
We have had Blue for 8 years but he still acts like a puppy. He is very much a typical Husky with quirks and strange vocals. We have 7 dogs total and have had my parents both with late Alzheimer's move in with us and we are no longer able to stay in the house we are in with the property we have. This property has enough room for 7 dogs but where we are going does not. This is not a decision I take lighlty and would not ever rehome any pet other then my parents did not plan for their future and now it has become my reality.
