Story
Eli is a gentle giant. He is as goofy as they come. Eli loves receiving kisses but, is not one to give them out. He would love to have a home to just chill in or go for long walks and look at nature. Noah's Arks Rescue is all about giving an Abused Animal a second chance at life and to experience what true love is. We take animals that have been tortured, abused, and neglected and supply the emergency medical care required to get them well. We then provide rehab physically and mentally to prepare them for their new home and new life. We are located in Ridgeland, SC., and are by appointment only. All of our dogs are at our Rehabilitation Center either in hospice care or being loved on by staff until we find them forever homes. Please call 843.540.6755 or email NoahsArksRescues@mac.com with any questions. If you are interested, please fill out our Adoption Application at https://www.noahs-arks.net/nar-application. We do adopt out of state and will arrange transports. Our dogs are not allowed to fly cargo at any time.

Story
Are you the adventurous type? So is Obie! (Or Tito as his foster family calls him). Are you looking for a loyal companion? So is Obie! This handsome Akita mix has been waiting to find a forever home where he will be a part of the family fun. He loves being outdoors; going on walks, chasing balls in the yard, hiking, swimming you name it! He loves being a part of the pack and will never pass up the opportunity for love, a game of fetch or tug-of-war, or treats. At the end of the day, hes ready to settle down with you on the couch or crawl up in bed to be near you for some serious snoozing.Hes great with kids and gets along with just about every dog and prefers them over cats - though hell tolerate a feline friend if he must.Overall, Obie (Tito) is an all-around happy-go-lucky dog full of love and fun who is always smiling and happy to be with you. If youre ready to meet him to see if hes the guy youve been waiting for, submit an application and lets see if youre a match.Obie's adoption fee has been generously sponsored.Adopters will be responsible for a $10 lifetime microchip registration fee.

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Rora is 4 years old. She is super friendly with people and loves kids but her behavior around large dogs, even ones she is used to, is completely random. She has never had any issues with smaller dogs. She had a botched neutering so she is very sensitive to her hind legs and underbelly where the fur ends. She has growled at prolonged contact to those locations but has never bit anyone. She has a fear of being left alone outdoors for too long and rarely goes far away when off leash. She is partially trained and does understand basic commands. She is crate trained.
