Story
Rigby is a sweet beautiful boy with lots of personality. He loves to run and play with his toys especially his squeaky snake. In the house he is very laid back and enjoys spending time with me and my family watching tv. He has favorite treats and listens on command when told to do something. In January traveled to Pennsylvania to get him from a lady who was homeless and living out of her car. She didn’t have food or paperwork on him but said that he has had his rabies shots. He is a great dog and would benefit from someone that can live and care for him in appropriate time.

These pups are in Warwick, Rhode Island too!

Story
What a handsome boy Foster is! He’s a 2.5 year old husky mix, weighing about 50 lbs. Foster’s an active pup who enjoys playing with his toys and the great outdoors, where he loves laying around and chasing birds, even in cold weather. He’s not much of a fetch guy and prefers playing independently with his toys. Foster seems to have a preference toward women. He’s great on walks and stays right by your side, but hold tight if he sees birds or other small critters, as he loves chasing them! He can also be leash reactive to other dogs on walks.  While foster enjoys playing with other dogs, he’d prefer to be the only pet in a calm adult home with grown children. He wants all the love and attention for himself and does not like to share, especially his food with other dogs. He is a bit anxious in the car and when going to new places, but really enjoys adventures, once familiar with the place. Foster is a big cuddler, especially at the end of the day when everyone’s home, settled, and relaxing together watching TV.  He wants to be right there with you and will follow you everywhere! He likes knowing everyone is safe, as he feels it’s his job to protect his people. Foster is house and crate trained, up to date, neutered and microchipped.     March 19, 2026, 5:42 pm

Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting Ella! Ella lives in an Alabama Foster Home and will transport when she is adopted. We look forward to speaking with you about this Dog. we have been adopting dogs to families in the north east and New England for over 15 years. Ella was surrendered to a vet. She is about 3 1/2 years old and she weighs 62 pounds, we don't expect her to grow any larger. With exercise, she may drop a few pounds. She was in boarding two months when they asked if we could get her out of boarding. She went into a foster home with an ER nurse, spouse, and other adult dogs. She is a dominant female, but she has not been difficult for her experienced foster mom. Ella is enjoying freedom out of boarding. She's crate trained and house trained. She's good on a leash. We prefer she goes to a home with a confident, male dog or that she's the only dog in the home. We have no history of her living with children, so we prefer that she go to an adult only home. Ella is spayed, recent on all vaccines, microchipped and she's receiving monthly parasite prevention, which is the treatment for a light heartworm positive test. Do a little research or message us so we can talk. A light heartworm positive means she was recently infected by a mosquito carrying a heartworm larva. The monthly prevention that she receives kills that larva in her bloodstream so that it never develops into heartworms. Just like if you were giving it to a dog that was heartworm negative every month. You will not know the difference. When Ella retests in 2027, we expect her to be negative, as long as she receives her monthly topical treatment. So if you adopt Ella, she also comes with 12 months of her preventative that is also used as her treatment. She also comes with her medical records. Ella's total adoption fee is $585, which includes transportation, a health certificate from licensed veterinarian, and her 12 months of preventative. The next Transport to Rhode Island is March 19, or drive an hour and pick her up the weekend of March 26. Serious Adopters should fill out the application online. Story
Maggi is a sweetheart who loves walks, car rides and pup cups. She loves to have conversations. She does well on a leash and needs to be in a harness for walkies due to her strength. She gets along great with cats and kids. Unfortunately, she is not dog friendly and that is where we have fallen into our issue. I am a pet sitter and she does not do well with other dogs in the house. She needs to be the only dog. We love her and hate to let her go but know it’s best for her happiness and safety. Maggi will make an amazing addition to an active family who can give her the exercise she requires. Besides regular walks, Maggi is very low maintenance and enjoys lounging for much of the day. She is pretty independent. A fenced in yard is preferred but if you’re dedicated to multiple walks a day then it’s not necessary. Consider Maggi if you have experience with large, northern breeds and are looking for a sweet, gentle giant lady who is looking for her forever home.
