Story
We adopted Zoe when she was 8 weeks old (birthdate: 5//20/2020) and it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to find her a new home, as one of our other dogs is no longer getting along with her. She is very lovable and a great protector of her pack, as most Akitas are. She's been trained professionally and responds very well to commands: sit, stay, come, down, place, etc. We bred her in July 2022 and she's had one of her puppies with us ever since, so we'd love to rehome them together if at all possible. His name is BJ, male, not neutered, but we will fix him if necessary. BJ (birthdate: 7/6/2022) is also very lovable, and loves being in his kennel. We leave the kennel door open, and he goes in and hangs out in there all the time! Adoption fee is for both dogs; will consider a lesser fee if only one is adopted. Would very much prefer to keep them together, as they have been for the past 2.5 years. Would prefer to rehome them to owners who are well informed about the breed.

Story
Hi, my name is Rhett. I was happily living with my doggy dad and he has fallen ill and is now in a nursing home. I’m happy and lovable. I haven’t met a stranger I did not like. I love chewy rubber bones. I still need to learn no jumps as I’m very excited to see people. My breed is typically fitted for homes with no other animals. Although since my dad talked to me, we don’t know how I would be with them please help me find my new forever home

Story
Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hi there! I’m Regency, but you can call me CeCe, Good Girl, or Beautiful! I’m a super friendly, 4-month-old “Husky” mix. People always comment on how pretty my eyes are, but it’s my loving personality that really draws them in! Here are some other things you might like to know: -I sleep well in my crate, and it’s like my own personal space, so I’m cool with hanging out there for a bit if you need me to. -I walk well on my leash, especially with a cute harness.  -I’m in the puppy stage, so lots of toys are a plus. I’m really good about knowing what is and isn’t a toy too! -I get along great with my foster siblings, even though I have more puppy energy than them right now. I’d love to have another dog that shares my energy, but I’m just as happy to have parents that have a fun lifestyle that includes me! -Cats are cool, but they’re not playful enough for me, so I just ignore them. -I’m getting better at my commands. I will sit for treats, and I promise to learn more if you train me! -I don’t bark much, usually just if I’m playing with my foster brother. I’d love for you to apply to adopt me. I can come check out your place. Let’s get to know each other better and become the best of pals! It will be perfect! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   February 5, 2025, 10:09 pm
