Katie came to the Sanctuary with Joey and they are looking for a home together. Katie is around 11 years old and Joey is around 6 years old. Katie has become more social at the Sanctuary but Joey still needs quite a bit of work on his social skills. Please check out his bio as well before applying to adopt them. Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Hi! My name is Judge. I was surrendered to the shelter with my brother Jacoby by a backyard breeder at only 5 weeks old. I’m getting to be a big boy now and am ready to find my family. I am a typical puppy and don’t have an off switch. I can get very vocal but it's just because I have so much to say! I love to explore and get into things. I have had a great start at socialization and am very brave in new experiences. My favorite past time is digging holes and climbing on things. I am crate trained and am working very hard on learning my commands. I'm good at sharing my toys and even do good with the cat! My new family must understand my needs and what it will take to make me a happy, well adjusted adult. Daily vigorous exercise, and exposure to new things is a must. I'm going to be a big boy. Right now I’m all legs and ears, but that won’t last long. I am still young and working very hard my house training (so I may still have accidents). ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 5/28/2024 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Required CATS: Yes CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. Cher, Madonna, Beyoncé, Gaga, all one named lady icons; now meet Twyla. A year old sassy new star, ready for her big break. Twyla has a luscious black coat with complimentary light tan markings and bright brown eyes, perfect for bribing you into extra treats. 44 lbs and a bit more growth to go, she is a happy and energetic young lady who thinks she is everyone's friend. She is proven to be friendly with kids and other dogs if not a little eager. Cats at this time are unknown. Her lovely coat and markings, along with some personality characteristics, would suggest Twyla to be a Husky/ Shepherd mix. A home with a yard and active family would be a best fit. She is smart and will let you know if she is bored or displeased. Consistency will be yours and Twyla's key to success. Speaking of success, Twyla is picking up on basic commands, potty training, and crate training (much to her Chagrin). Twyla prefers a good blankie to stretch out on much more, and let's not forget the belly rubs. Leash training is going well, but as most youngsters, she's easily distracted right now. After a hard day of playing and learning she enjoys a good snuggle, and wants to be with people. Twyla comes spayed, chipped, and treated. She is currently on some medication to help her be her best girl. It is $285 for her adoption fee. With the right start and lots of love, Twyla can be the star of your life for many years to come. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Luna is very high energy and loves to run and run. She is great with my kids other than she does get very excited when we first get home and she jumps still trying to break her of this also is a little bit older and she digs holes to go under the fence, we love her however, we do not have the time due to a new job and going to school and she is in a crate a lot and she shouldn’t be due to how much energy she has. We are looking for a single person that is willing to take her on and has a yard for her to run.
