Say hello to Ursa!She is a 3 year old Akita mix who weighs about 66 pounds. Ursa is a nervous girl when meeting new people, but with a bit of time and patience she is a friend for life. She loves being outside and exploring the world around her, but she is just as happy to be cuddled up on the couch. She loves lying in the sunshine and is always ready for a long walk. Ursa can be shy at first with new dogs, but she really seems to enjoy being around other dogs, so she shows potential to live in a home with another dog if they`re a goo match. Due to her shy nature, if there are kids in her forever home they need to be ages 13 and older. If Ursa looks like the girl for you, stop in today to meet this beautiful girl!

If you would like to meet Nikki, come to the shelter during open hours Tuesday-Friday 3:30-6:30 Saturday & Sunday 1-4 We do require a meet and greet if you have another dog in your home!

Auggie enjoys chewing on his Nylabones, playing in the yard, and exploring new adventures. This active pup is looking for a family that can provide him with regular exercise and mental stimulation to help him thrive. He is currently working on crate training and housebreaking—he’s making great progress but still has the occasional accident. Auggie has met cats and done well, and though he hasn’t met kids yet, his submissive and gentle nature suggests he’d be a great fit with the right introductions.
