Story
Maiko is an incredibly sweet, AKC registered female Akita Inu. Unfortunately she doesn't get along with our other dog and so we need to find her a good home. She also can be temperamental around children. Her best home would be without other pets or kids as she doesn't like to be pushed or pulled or played with roughly when she isn't feeling up to it.

Story
Maiko is a two-year-old female AKC registered American Akita. She is a beautiful dog and has the cutest personality. She is not a big barker, but she loves to talk (in her own unique way) and greet her humans when they get home. She loves all toys, but her favorite are tennis balls. She is laid back most of the time but can get the zoomies here and there and it is hilarious. She walks pretty well on a leash and is potty trained. We do still kennel her when we leave the house to be safe, but overall, she is a well-mannered lady in the house. We are devasted to rehome her, she has been such a bright light in our lives, however, she has had some behavioral issues with our small children and other dogs that family or friends have brought over. She loves our German shepherd Leo that she was raised with, but I am not sure about any other pets. We want to find her a loving home that does not have small children in the home, or if there are on occasion, she can be separated from.
