Story
This is Kirby. He’s is 4 (5 on oct 19). He is up to date and on heartworm preventative. He would do best as the only pet (he has some issues with his current siblings). He likes older kids! He is a big baby and loves to cuddle. He’s the best dog to hug ever. He does have some unspecified pain issues. (Current owner has meds but unable to afford sedation and X-rays). **Kirby is not at CCHS. If you are interested in learning more or adopting Kirby please email cchsshelter@yahoo.com. We will get you in contact with the owner**

Story
My son Caleb that is 21 years old is having to surrender Zeus because his schedule has become too busy to provide him with the consistent care and attention he needs and deserves. Unfortunately, he is no longer able to manage his daily needs properly, especially considering his medical condition. Zeus has a history of seizures and is on daily medication and requires routine medical appointments that I am not able to afford. This decision is incredibly difficult, but it is being made with his best interests in mind, in hopes that he can be placed in an environment better suited to support his health and well-being.
