Greets other dogs nicely whom she encounters while out for walks. Dooly received training at a training center and learned how to live with people. We rescued him from certain death when he found himself at a southern kill shelter, infected with a deadly heartworm infection, intestinal parasites, skin infection, ear infection, thin and unvaccinated, and dumped at a shelter. His spirit was broken. Then to make matters worse, he contracted PARVO at the shelter!! We couldn't let him die that way! So we rushed him to our vet and got to work looking for foster. Today Hershal has a clean bill of health, he's looking and feeling great. And he loves how it feels to be safe and loved and part of the family at his foster home! Hershal is approx 7 or 8 years old. This sweet girl was found with her head stuck in a fence and she had multiple wounds. An amazing volunteer took her in and started treatments for her wounds. We estimate Darla was born in late October. We have no idea what happened to her but we know her future is bright. She is sweet, funny and playful. We are only guessing at the breed mix because of her ears. That may change as time goes on. She will be finished with her vetting and ready to go to her forever home in early to mid January. Let’s help her have the best life.
