We rescued him from certain death when he found himself at a southern kill shelter, infected with a deadly heartworm infection, intestinal parasites, skin infection, ear infection, thin and unvaccinated, and dumped at a shelter. His spirit was broken. Then to make matters worse, he contracted PARVO at the shelter!! We couldn't let him die that way! So we rushed him to our vet and got to work looking for foster. Today Hershal has a clean bill of health, he's looking and feeling great. And he loves how it feels to be safe and loved and part of the family at his foster home! Hershal is approx 7 or 8 years old. Amazing girl, just didn't end up getting along with my 10 year old female chow. I recently lost my partner of 25 years and I don't think it will be fair to either of my girls to have to live together especially being on my own. She would be best in a one dog house or with a male because she and my 2 year old male chow are two peas in a pod. I would love to see her with someone who works from home or could bring her to work with them. It breaks my heart that she and my other girl don't get along but Panda is young enough to find a new home and I'll carry on with my two other pups and we'll eventually meet again in another time in space.
