**Special Needs Adoption**Hi! My name is Rico and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 8yrs and I've been back at the shelter since November 10th.I am a very sweet and silly dude who loves nothing more than meeting new people! I am an older guy with some health issues but you know that wont stop me! I enjoy romping around chasing balls, though I don't usually bring them back but maybe one time! I like stretching my legs on short walks and I don't pull much I promise! I am more independent and enjoy my space but I also wont mind a spot on the couch next to you. My ideal home would be vigilante with keeping up on my medical needs. I have been in multiple home with other animals and have done great. I am getting older and a little less tolerant of other dogs. No issues if I am the big baby in the home, getting all the love and attention I deserve. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.RICO'S ADOPTION FEE: $200 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Rico and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet!
