Story
Hi, my name is Kita and I'm from Northern Minnesota. Kita has blossomed into such a fun, sweet and playful girl. She is really enjoying being apart of a family and roaming the house. Kita gets so happy when my 11 and 9 year old wake up in the morning. We have two other dogs, one large and one small. They all walk really well together and coexist well inside. We still separate for night time and feeding. She doesn’t really pay attention to other dogs that we meet. She rarely barks. You can tell that she has a lot more to share and give and has a quiet demeanor. She has started to play with stuffies and even gives little cute love nibbles. Kita gives me a hug in the morning. I can tell that she really wants to run and I have taken her jogging a bit. Understandably so, she still has some nervousness with new people and new noises but she calmly stays away and then eventually joins us. She just needs some space at first. Kita also only had one accident in the house her first night. But she goes to the door when she needs to go out. She is also very smart and curious. We just love her pointy ears. I think she would thrive with a situation where she can get good exercise with an active person or couple or family. She has a lot more love to give. She also is okay when we have to take a high value treat away or lift up her food. She really is very sweet.

Story
Hi! I'm Polar Vortex.  I am a lovable, stubborn, energetic pup around 3-4 years old! True I am a big puppy and I need lots of guidance and training to ensure that I am set up for success in my life. Where I am staying currently there are no toys, human food or treats allowed as I haven't fully learned how to share. I love playing with the resident dogs. Speaking of the resident dogs I am with, I LOVE PLAYING ROUGH with them. I love to raise my big strong paw and give a smack to get the wrestling match started! I am a stereotypical Malamute in that respect. My foster mom says that it comes with Malamute territory and with being a puppy. I know how to kennel up, and I have been allowed to free roam when the humans leave. I didn’t cause trouble either way while the humans were away. I do eat my meals in the kennel so I can eat in peace, again not a fan of sharing... yet. I am a very smart, yet stubborn. I do not care for car rides at the moment. I will get into the car if and when I choose. My foster mommy is working on enticing me with treats to get into the car. I will admit, it is starting to work. I am still a puppy who wants to play. I am eager to learn the skills though and once I have them my foster mom says I will be a wonderful companion. Ooooh, and I almost forgot, I take treats very nice, you hardly know I am grabbing the treat from your hand. I am almost fully potty trained! My foster mommy also calls me her “little” velcro puppy. I want to make sure she is still home so I follow her everywhere. I really like sleeping with her at night on the big soft bed. She finds it funny that I currently don’t jump onto the couches, but I have no issue sleeping on the big soft bed with her at night. Who knows, maybe I will surprise everyone and start jumping onto the couches as I now understand the pleasures of sleeping on a human bed.  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $475.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 13, 2025, 7:22 pm

Story
Come and meet me at our adoption event at Chuck & Don's, Edina on 12/20 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm! Age: DOB 6/02/2025 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: unknown/not tested Kid friendly: unknown/not tested Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Meet Faber! This athlete is ready to join your team 🏒 Faber is an energetic, smart girl who’s already crate-trained and sleeps soundly through the night. She’s also potty trained and does her business in the yard (especially when told “go potty”). While she can hang out solo, Faber loves being part of a team. She hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t like, and she’s wonderfully playful and submissive. She's learning to read cues from older dogs who need a quick timeout when she’s still ready for overtime. Her hat trick? Crate-trained, potty-trained, and the prettiest “sit” you’ve ever seen. She’s working on more commands every day and would love to show them off at an adoption event or a meet-and-greet. And yes, those ears are very real and always on high alert, ready to catch every sound (and compliment). Adoption fee: $495
