He finds comfort in human companionship and soaks up affection with quiet gratitude. He’s an incredibly sweet, easygoing boy with a calm, steady presence that makes every moment with him feel peaceful. Inside the home, Harbor is happiest simply following his people from room to room before settling down nearby to relax.We believe Harbor is nearly, if not completely, deaf—but it hasn’t slowed him down one bit. He navigates the world with confidence and responds well to visual cues and gentle guidance. What he may lack in hearing, he more than makes up for in heart.Harbor is potty trained and will even lay by the door to let you know when he needs to go out—such a polite gentleman. He rides wonderfully in the car and enjoys tagging along for errands, making him an easy companion for day-to-day life. No dog loves every other dog, just as humans do not like every other human they meet. A proper introduction (meet and greet) would be required as part of our application process. Keyoko is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She had been living a good life until her owner died and she - and her buddy Zeus - suddenly found themselves at the shelter with nowhere to go. One of our wonderful fosters has agreed to take both of them in until we can find their new forever homes. In addition, a kind supporter has sponsored part of her adoption fee to help her get settled soon. At 8yrs old, Keyoko is still playful and loves to cuddle with her people. She is looking for a safe and loving home. If you think that could be yours, click on the big black button marked "Ask About Me" and we will send you an application. This dog is being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.
