Story
Tatianna is a stunning 3-year-old Akita with a heart full of love for everyone she meets. She’s affectionate, friendly, and eager to find a family who will cherish her as much as she’ll cherish them.Tatianna recently had puppies and will need to be spayed once she has fully recovered from nursing. She’s a strong, independent girl but isn’t a fan of being alone for long periods—she thrives on companionship and would love a home where she can be part of daily life. When it comes to other dogs, Tatianna has done well meeting male dogs at the shelter and may be able to live with one in her new home. Due to her high prey drive, a home without cats or small animals is a must. One of her favorite things to do is go for walks, no matter the weather! Whether it’s sunny, rainy, or snowy, she’s always up for an adventure and would love an active family who enjoys spending time outdoors.Tatianna is looking for a home where she’ll be loved, understood, and given the companionship she craves. She’s a loyal, devoted girl who’s ready to start her next chapter with the right family.

Story
Hi, I`m Suki!I am a very cute Akita puppy, who came to WCHS after my owner could no longer take care of me. I am still VERY much a puppy, and would need to be very well socialized throughout my life. I could possibly live with cats with the correct introduction, as well as other dogs. If I seem like the right fit for your home, come meet me today!

Story
MY ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED FEBRUARY 18 - 23 AS PART OF THE MISSED CONNECTIONS ADOPTION EVENT !!!Bubbas is a extra large guy with a squishy puppy personailty. He loves to meet new people and chase balls around in the yard! Bubbas doesn`t quite know his size and is still working on his manners like walking nicely on a leash and not jumping on counters...or tables. He is practicing walking on a harness and is looking for a family committed to using positive reinforcement training methods to help him be the gentleman we know he can be. Bubbas is eager to find a lap he can snuggle up in after a long game of fetch or an afternoon of fun activities. Bubbas seems to enjoy other dogs and could likely do fine with a well matched friend! If you think Bubbas could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog thats a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) theyre interested in - and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
