Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Lily is a stunning 3-year-old, 63-pound Akita mix with striking blue eyes and a heart full of love. She has a calm, quiet temperament and loves following her foster mom around.This gentle girl is patient, sweet, and easygoing. She walks beautifully on a leash and waits for her walks to do her business. Lily is great with other dogs and kids. She got along great with the 2 cats in her foster home, but did not like the more affectionate cat in her adoptive home that didn’t work out. She loves going on adventures and spending time with her person, so she’d like someone home a lot.Lily is ready to find a forever home where she can be cherished for the amazing dog she is.
