I've had Oakley since birth. He loves all the attention and petting he can get. Great dog but requires plenty of exercise. Good with kids but would be best for older kids because of how excited he gets... he is a bigger dog.

Story
My name is Makoto and I am a good boy. I enjoy a good squeaker toy and treats could be a great pass time as well. I am 66 lbs and I am believed to be an Akita mix. I tested good with respectful dogs and I do not seem to mind having a cat around. I might chase them but with training I can do anything. I do not enjoy vet visits but what pet really does? I am a pretty calm dog, I do not tend to jump on people and I do pretty well on a leash. I have done well with people and would be a good fit with respectful kids. Am I the right dog for you? You will never know unless you fill out an application and come meet me!If you are interested in adopting this pet please visit www.blackfordcountyanimalshelter.com to complete our online adoption application.
