Can anyone foster or adopt this handsome boy?! Meet Shadea charming 2-year-old dog who is currently looking for a loving foster home or a forever family. This handsome boy was sadly abandoned at the shelter by his previous owner, who never returned for him, leading to a heartbreaking situation where he was at risk of euthanasia. Fortunately, Shade's gentle nature and loyalty to humans shine through, making him a wonderful companion. He thrives in the company of older children, as his size may be overwhelming for younger ones. Shade is well-mannered on a leash and is already house trained, making him an easy addition to any household. He enjoys outdoor adventures and long walks, showcasing his playful spirit. While Shade is generally friendly with other dogs, he can be selective about his companions and is notably protective of his toys. He takes treats with care, demonstrating his sweet demeanor. Shade is eager to find a family where he can offer his loyalty and protection. Story
Maple is an approximately 10 month old Akita (mix?). Maple is a very sweet girl that can be shy and reserved with new people. She needs an owner committed to providing her with positive reinforcement and experiences moving forward. She is petrified of cats, and stays out of their way, so we are thinking she would be fine in a home with kitties. She has done well on pack walks with other dogs but doesn't always love them in the household when they attempt to play, etc. so she may do best without dogs or with another relaxed and confident, dog friendly dog. She seems to be house trained, crate trained, and rides well in the car. We think small children would be too much for her. Her adoption fee is $150 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations and negative heartworm test.
