Born: October 21, 2023 I'm 55lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $450 Meet Bingo! This sweet and loving dog is ready to bring joy to her forever home. Bingo is wonderful with people, dogs, and kids, but she would thrive best in a cat-free environment. She’s had fun at doggy daycare and got along great with her furry friends. Bingo is a smart girl who already knows commands like “sit” and “shake” and is eager to learn more. She’s making great progress with house training and is fully crate-trained. Whether she’s playing in the snow, snuggling on the couch, or enjoying her favorite toys, Bingo’s playful and affectionate nature shines. She’s also easygoing when it comes to baths, brushing, and walks on her leash. Bingo would make an incredible addition to any family. Start your New Year off right and check “find the perfect dog” off your resolutions list by welcoming Bingo into your home! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Story
Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Finnegan is a smart energetic dog looking for a family ready to continue his training.  As an Akita/German Shepherd mix, Finnegan is a working dog with a strong protective drive. He loves to be outside, playing and roughhousing with his canine friends.  Finnegan is looking for an active home where he can direct his energy toward mental and physical activities and exercise. He gets along well with both dogs and cats in his foster home, and would likely do well with older children.  If you have experience with working breeds like Akitas and are ready to guide Finnegan through consistent obedience training, he is ready to be a devoted pet who will love and protect you! Stop by our weekly adoption events on Saturdays from 12-4 pm at 372 Townline Road in Mundelein, IL 60060 to meet our adoptable animals in person. Story
Thor is really playful and has lots of energy. He's fun and loving. He loves to go on walks and explore everything. Unfortunately he has bad separation anxiety and needs someone that will be with him and I work nights so when I leave he will bark and howl the whole night. He needs attention and someone willing to be patient with him because he has a lot of energy. He would be happy in a big backyard, ideally fenced because he can jump high and akitas are really good at escaping. All in all he needs a loving family that will give him his forever home.

These pups are in Elburn, Illinois too!

Story
Meet Kal El! Male Husky/American Staffordshire Terrier Mix About 2 years old About 65lbs Hi, I’m Kal El but my friends call me Kal. I spent several months in the shelter and was overlooked for all those cute little dogs and puppies. I am looking for a Forever fa that loves me almost as much as I love them. I’ve been told that I’m a big DERP! I love to run and play and need a home that has a backyard for me to run. I’m a pretty quiet guy and don’t bark all that much, unless you are ignoring me and then I will “talk” to you like most Huskies to let you know I’d like attention. Since I was in the shelter and didn’t get much opportunity to stretch my legs, I’ve been known to have a need for speed and zoomies are my jam! I’m pretty strong on a leash and am learning not to pull…but there’s so much to explore, sometimes I forget. With continued training, I’m going to be a master of the leash in no time. When I chill out, I’m very cuddly and like affection. I know the sit command and will sit for a treat, most of the time, unless I get distract…SQUIRREL! I take treats very gently too! I like to play “tug” and I know when my mouth gets too close to your fingers and am gentle with my mouth. But don’t be fooled, I play a hard game of tug and won’t let you win just because you’re a human. I’m a “Superman” for sure and if you’re not a DC fan, you should also know that I’m absolutely “MARVELous”…see what I did there? Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. Story
Meet Napoleon – A Stunning Husky-Malamute Mix Ready for His Forever Home! Napoleon is a breathtakingly handsome red Alaskan Husky and Malamute mix, estimated to be around 5–6 years old and weighing between 55–60 pounds. With his affectionate, playful, and dignified personality, he is truly a one-of-a-kind companion looking for his perfect match. This resilient and loving boy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, making him a fantastic addition to a family with plenty of love to give. However, he is still working on his relationship with cats and will need supervision and training to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Napoleon is fully housebroken and incredibly respectful indoors. He sleeps soundly on a dog bed and enjoys relaxing near his people. While he has a playful and engaging side, he is also content simply being by your side, soaking up affection and companionship. He thrives on activities that keep his mind busy, like chewing on bones and playing with toys. A great travel buddy, Napoleon loves car rides and settles down quickly for trips. His food motivation makes him eager to please and an excellent candidate for continued training. While he’s working on his leash manners and learning some basic commands, he does have a bit of that classic Husky “I do what I want” energy! With patience, consistency, and plenty of treats, he will continue to make great progress. Napoleon has had an incredible journey of resilience and recovery. He arrived from Texas underweight and in need of care. After undergoing successful surgery for entropion, a common eye condition, he has fully healed and is ready to show off his striking blue eyes and charming personality to the world! Though he is generally well-behaved, Napoleon does have a mischievous side when it comes to food—he’s been known to counter surf! However, he is non-destructive and a wonderful houseguest overall. He absolutely adores other dogs, especially his foster sister, and would thrive in a home with a canine companion to play with. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving, and affectionate addition to your family, Napoleon might just be the perfect match. He’s ready to bring his love, joy, and playful spirit to a home that will cherish him forever. If you’re interested in adopting please reach out today. Let’s find this amazing boy the forever home he deserves! Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). .
