Story
Hi! I’m Suki, a 4 and a half-year-old Akita/Pointer mix, and I’m looking for a loving home where I can show you just how sweet and playful I am! I’m a gentle and loving girl with a fun, active side. I enjoy playing with bones and going on walks or runs to stretch my legs and explore the world. I’m always up for some fun, but I also have a calm, laid-back side where I just love to relax with you and soak up all the attention I can get. I’ve had some training, so I know a few things, but I’ve mostly lived outside, so I’m still learning some of the inside rules. I’m not housebroken yet, but I’m eager to learn and would love to have someone patient who can help me with that. I’m also still figuring out how to be on a leash, so I might need some guidance with that too—but I’m a quick learner, and with some practice, I’ll get the hang of it! I’m a treat-motivated girl, and I’m always eager to learn new things, especially if there’s a yummy reward at the end. I take treats gently and know some commands—I just need a little help with consistency to make sure I’m the best-behaved pup I can be. I’m a sweet girl who absolutely loves kids of all ages—I’m gentle and affectionate with them and always ready to hang out. I’ve lived with another dog before and really enjoyed the companionship, especially with my previous doggie friend who was introduced to me when she was a puppy. However, I can be a little selective about which dogs I get along with, especially adult male dogs. So, I’d be happiest in a home where I’m the only dog, or where my new dog sibling and I can take things slow and make sure we’re a good match. I do NOT like cats or chickens—I've actually harmed a cat before, and I tend to hunt small animals like mice and rabbits. If you have any smaller critters, I’d need to stay far away from them. However, I could potentially live with cows or other larger livestock that I wouldn’t be able to harm. I love going on adventures and have a strong hunting instinct, so when I catch an animal’s scent or get distracted, it can be hard to get my attention. But don’t worry—if you call me or whistle, I will usually come back (especially if there’s a treat involved!). I don’t like it when my tail gets pulled (who would, right?), and I’m also not a fan of fireworks—they really scare me, so I’d appreciate a quiet, calm space when they’re going off. I’ve got medium energy, so while I’m playful and love to get outside, I’m not too high-strung. I’m ready to find a family who can give me the love, attention, and training I need to become the best companion I can be. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle dog who’s excited to be part of the family, I’d love to meet you!

Story
Kira is a 9 year old purebreed husky that we got at 12 weeks in lander Wyoming. She was not wanted because she was all White and had no black in her. At the time it was just me and my husband and other dog 9 years ago. Although due to our family growing we can no longer provide the necessary exercise she needs on a daily basis. She is use to running or a faster rythm that now she starts to pull. When she sees other dogs she is attracted to them but also barks we usually help her by redirecting her and she moves along calmly. At a home environment she is very calm and sweet and only wants to be next to someone so she can get some love. She is not spayed because the procedure has been a lot of money for us to pay, but she is really protective of herself and wont let dogs get on top of her. She gets a bump in her eye that grows, doctor said she needed surgery but it gows away by its self. She also loves to dig.

Story
I’m a 3-year-old Husky. I’m gentle, affectionate, and always up for a good time. I’ve got high energy and love to play, especially with balls! Fetch is one of my favorite activities, so if you throw it, I’ll be there in a flash! I already know “sit” and “stay,” but I’ll admit – I’m a bit of a jumper. It’s just how I greet people because I’m so excited to see you! I promise I’m not being rude, I just want to say hello with all my enthusiasm. I’m mostly housebroken, but I’m not super treat motivated, so I’ll need a patient and creative family who’s willing to work with me on completing my housetraining and learning other commands. I’m not picky about treats, but I do love attention, so I’ll work hard for that! I’m good with kids and seem to get along with other dogs when we’re introduced properly. I’m not sure how I feel about cats, but I’d be happy to meet one and see how we get along. Being a Husky, I’ve got a lot of energy and would thrive in a home with a big backyard and a tall fence so I can run and play to my heart’s content. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and active companion who will keep you on your toes, I might just be the perfect match for you. I can’t wait to meet you and show you how much love I’ve got to give!

Story
I’m a 1-year-old Husky/Pitbull mix, and I have a sweet, loving personality that’s as unique as my looks! I’m playful, cuddly, & love to snuggle up close to my humans. I’m always up for a good play session with squeaky toys or some tasty jerky bites – they’re one of my absolute favorites! I’m housebroken, though sometimes I still have the occasional accident, & can be in a crate for less than 8 hours & behave nicely. I’m used to being left outside a lot...I sure would like a new home where I can be inside most of the time but have access outside, too. I already know some great commands like “sit,” “stay,” “paw,” and “kennel.” Because I’m part Husky, I’ve got that adventurous spirit & a lot of energy. I’d do best in a home with access to a big yard & a tall fence to keep me safe & entertained. I love running around & exploring, so I need space to burn off some of my playful energy! I’m good with kids & dogs – I love making new friends! I’ve never been around cats, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them, but I’m always open to meeting new buddies. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loving companion who will bring lots of fun & affection into your life, I might just be the perfect fit!
