Zoomer is incredibly handsome and super smart. He's able to master new skills quickly and curious about the world around him. Zoomer LOVES car rides and walks. He's strong, so, he'd do best with a more active adopter who is looking for an adventure buddy. He would love to hike and camp and sit out under the stars. He would love road trips and roughing it in the great outdoors. He'd love having a backpack and a job. He would love being included and being talked to. He'd love to feel like he belongs. Hi! My name is Enzo and I'm an Alaskan Malamute from Lake Tahoe. I'm ~75 pounds of fluff and I'll be 2 years old in June. I'm happiest around people and dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes. I go to the dog park weekly where I love running around and playing with other dogs. I'm potty trained and leash trained - my off-leash training can use some work. I'm very vocal, will do anything for a treat, and am working on not getting too excited when visitors come - even though I calm down after a few minutes. My parents had to relocate to Georgia due to an unforeseen family issue, so I am looking for a new loving family. I'm great with adults, kids, and other dogs. I love to hike, swim, and play in the snow.

Story
Makua is an outdoor dog raised on a 5 acre property and was used to having another dog around. Unfortunately we had to move to a smaller place in a neighborhood and he is alone. Our schedules prohibit us from being able to give him the attention he needs. We would like to see him find a new home with someone familiar with huskies and a better living environment than our own.
